Just completed my latest ride up the mountains to Dalat.
This section is 95km with about 55km of climbs and it is a heart breaker climbing to 1200m and then drop down some 300m and then back up 200m and then finally level off at 1000m. Without any training for the last month I was so tired and took some 11 hours to complete it. I have included a detailed terrain image of the climb.

About to complete my mammoth tour of Starting at Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Bangkok, Pattaya, Phnom Penh, Ho Chi Minh City and back to Vung Tau Total around 2200km

Back in Phnom Penh now and 350km to go to get back to Vietnam, home base. No complaints.

A little hot :) generally. New road construction in southern Cambodia made life difficult (nightmare) and needed to hitch a ride into Phnom Penh, but the roads will be amazing on completion in about 3 more years.

I started this nomadic trip about 2 months ago (hard to keep track)
and I have had an interesting but uneventful time generally.

Life is good.

After some 3 weeks of traveling from Vung Tau to Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh, to Siem Reap and finally to Bangkok I am about to arrive in Bangkok tomorrow with just 108 km to go. 11 actual days of riding. Longest day 152km and average 100km.

This is dam hard with the heat being up to 35c after 12 noon.
I guess I am acclimatising to the heat.
3 flat tyres, (two of them in my hotels), 1 chain change, 2 land border crossings and that is it for drama.
It is not the first time I have done this in fact this is my 4th trip like this and I hope many more to come.

Just completed my trip to Phnom Penh from HCMC, 300km.

I have done this trip so many times that I could almost do it with my eyes closed😀.

It is a 2 and half day trip and gets a bit hot but not having ridden for the last month, I seemed to do it with ease.

Just completed 830km tour to Nha Trang and back to Vung Tau.5 days up and 5 days back and now time for a rest. Maybehead...

5 days up and 5 days back and now time for a rest. Maybe
head to Bangkok next month depending which way the wind is blowing. The weather this time of the year (winter) was perfect except some headwinds. Overall a very enjoyable trip.
