Old Petrie Town is a truly unique location. With an array of specialty shops all housed in historic buildings, there is so much to see and enjoy. Sundays are abuzz with people looking for a bargain at the markets, or having a leisurely breakfast at the Hotel's café, wood fired bakery, emporium diner and the Food hall. Go back in time and visit a Steam museum, Fire Museum, or even the working foundry, and blacksmiths. Why would you even consider going anywhere else....???

No booked classes today...so I decided to get busy and get a jump start on making my popular mini cheese board sets...perfect for those secret Santa gifts or to have on hand for when an unexpected gift is required....

Find my store at the end of Main St in Old Petrie Town...open today til 1pm and then again tomorrow for the Sunday markets.

Please note that all of Nov and Dec my store will not be open on Wed and Thurs due to needing more time to create and make for custom orders and Christmas stock levels.

It’s all about the kids ( and Big ones too) at this Sundays Old Petrie Town Community Markets . Together with the Magnificent Steam Engines coming out to play on the streets and Animal petting farm with pony rides ,Amazing face painters , Colourful Hair Braids , Fire Engine rides around the village , The Ole Lolly shop , Live Entertainment in the Park Rotunda , Cafes , Heritage Hotel , Specialty and gift shops , Museums, Street Foods , Mumfords Barn for more street foods and shops… all this on 52 acres of beautiful country parklands . Free Entry ,Pooch friendly and plenty of free parking . A GREAT FAMILY DAY OUT !

Our Story

Old Petrie Town is a truly unique location. Set on 52 acres of manicured grounds, with an array of specialty shops all housed in historic buildings, there is so much to see and enjoy. Some stores open Wednesday to Sunday. Sundays are abuzz with people looking for a bargain at the markets, or having a leisurely breakfast on the Heritage Hotel’s sprawling veranda’s, the wood fired Bakery, Emporium Diner or Mumfords Food Barn. Go back in time and visit the Steam Museum, Fire Museum, or even the working foundry, and blacksmith. Walk around the Park see the majestic 350 year old fig trees, or even try to spot a koala or two.

With all of this on your doorstop, why would you even consider going anywhere else....???
