Happy Mother’s Day to ALL!
Thinking of all the incredible parental figures in my life over the many years that have shaped me into the mother I am today. I’ve learnt so much from so many and am incredibly grateful for the lessons, encouragement and support along the way.

It takes a village to raise children and a support network of many to build a family. You can create one in whatever form you want.

From now till the 27th Feb 24, it’s time to look at your calendar, book your Qantas eligible flights and move faster to the higher tiers of Qantas status or increase the amount of points you receive per flight.

Mandawe... An Indian surprise.

Leaving the hustle and bustle of big cities I frantically searched for my itinerary to learn more about this place we were on our way to that I knew nothing about.

A wrong turn at a fork in the road, lead to a dusty one way unsealed road, a flat tyre and a beautiful local experience for a group of random strangers. Fresh Chai was made, milking cows that the kids played with and open fields of mustard, vegetables and a quiet life. I watched and drank with the family the fresh brew before our tyre was fixed and the husband of the family lead us out of the village on his motorbike and in the direction of Mandawe.

The Desert Resort was a fantastic place for the last two nights, where we got henna tattoos, ate dinner in a castle, Clint got a haircut and shave at a hole in the wall barber and we explored the town by foot, learning the history of this town once a place to stop and pass through. The history depicted in paintings on buildings, currently with a number being restored. The architecture and doors!! WOW.

A great end to the tour with many friendships made and an incredible guide - Ravi.

Food, people and block printing experience for us in Jaipur, India.

A backstreet walking tour found us sampling samosa' which this store sells thousands each day and all freshly made - we watched the whole process in this tiny street stall. Drank Mango Lassi (a yogurty style milk drink) from one of the most famous stores in the area, where your drinks are served in ceramic mugs (which are then discarded - once used, ground down and used for something else)

Learning how the locals here make all sorts of prints - Jackson and the other kids made their own which we were able to take with us.

The women, guards and locals in such colour everywhere. It's a beautiful contrast to the fog at this time of the year, with the whites, greys and red sandstone buildings.

So many things to see and experience in Jaipur, India. The northwest capital of Rajasthan.

Also known as the 'pink city' the brightly coloured city streets, surrounded by a 10km wall around it.

Visiting the City Palace - we were lucky enough to get a glimpse of the princess whom is also in parliament as she drove out. Followed by the observatory, what wonder has been created here to tell the time down to seconds and track the stars.

The Palace of the winds with it's symetrical structure and honeycomb facade. It's the most photographed building in India after the Taj Mahal - the boys went back to photograph it at night too!

The following morning we visted Amber Fort, set on a hilltop overlooking a lake (unfortunately fog didn't allow us to see this) but it was a very cool place and certainly popular amongst those wanting a 'pre-wedding' photo shoot! There were at least 6 couples getting their pictures taken - and videos shot!

So much to see here, though after a lot of walking, I chose to stay in the hotel whilst Jay and Clint went and explored the city at night in an open top vehicle, which Ravi - our guide organised and accompanied them on. (Thanks for all the photos clint and Jay!)

One of the worlds most impressive structures, a once in a lifetime experience of seeing, visiting, learning about the history and story of and taking a moment in time at the Taj Mahal at first light on New Years Day 2024.

This experience so far has taught me so much and being here I feel so privileged to witness.

If it’s on your bucket list, then make sure you visit.

Arriving into Agra on New Year’s Eve. Visiting Agra fort and seeing how carpet is made.

Langkawi cable car to the skybridge opened, after we were told too windy and closed till 12. It then opened (miraculously) and we were first on in a private cable car.

I forgot how high we were actually traveling and no one told me the bridge was at the TOP of the mountain. Cable car was swinging but ok and similar to ski lifts. Though much higher than a normal lift length.

Once to the top, good side walks. It was too windy for skybridge to open so we came back down. (Thank goodness as I didn’t like the heights and wind 😆)

I highly recommend paying for the private car which is VIP, especially when traveling with kids to avoid the queues. You still have to pay extra (no VIP) at the top for the skybridge walk.

You also can’t take water, but can purchase at top. There are also snacks but lots of warnings about monkeys.

The last 4 days I’ve had the opportunity to connect, catch up with, share laughs,meals and memories with many of the wonderful partners and friends in the travel industry.

Often referred to as ‘suppliers’ I chose them as friends and partners to help facilitate and create memories for my clients (friends) - YOU!

Whilst it’s a long way flying all the way to Europe to see many in the one place for only a few days, and emails pile up, these relationships are built on trust, openness, honesty and respect.

Built over many years so that YOU get the best and also most up to date information on what’s happening in the industry.

I can’t wait to share so many exciting things in the pipeline for 2024 and beyond.

8 Years ago today, 'Team Adventure Ranse' became official as Clint Ranse and I tied the knot in Fiji. It was beautifully fitting that this year, I was able to run events back in Fiji and for the first week Clint and Jackson were able to support me as I organised and ran the Inaugural International Travel Agent Achievers Retreat. This is a program, podcast, mastermind and more, where I have been mentoring and helping other Travel Advisors around the world to build the Travel Business of their dreams for the last 4 years.

I'm still here in Fiji, with one of my fabulous clients "Lifestyle Tradie" - coordinating and organising the travel and event with Mayette for their business retreat with 290 members.

I'll be back home in a week and look forward to celebrating with you Clint another year around the sun as Team Adventure Ranse ###

I may have been quiet on social media for my travel business, but I haven’t gone anywhere.

18months worth of work, about to kick off the 2024 International Business Blueprint conference LIVE in Cebu, Philippines. We have over 400 people in attendance, across 2 hotel rooms, 5 event venues, 2 conference rooms. With many people traveling this Christmas season, this is for you! I often get teased for bringing everything for ‘just in case’ moments with me and my family on our travels and today is no different as we head to Malaysia for Christmas and then India for New years and an adventure. Currently in Cannes, France. At the International Luxury Travel Mart (ILTM). @iltm_events One of the most prestigious, invitation only events for the travel industry. Day 1 was filled with several appointments with hotel friends and also new properties and contacts to ensure the best relationships, offerings and benefits are for our clients. I was excited this morning to see the @windstarcruises Windstar Legend arrive. I’ll be on board later this week and share more about it.
