The Dolomites 🙌 Even when it’s overcast and cool it’s still spectacular every where you look. We did the Fodom loop today to make sure we got back before the forecast showers rolled in then everyone headed off on other adventures around and above town for the afternoon. We’ve just enjoyed another stunning dinner at one of our favourite restaurants and looking forward to taking on the Giau tomorrow.

The Passo dello Stelvio 🙌 it’s the one they all came here to tick off and the weather was thankfully kind so they could see and ride her on our final ride in the Alps region. We had everything we could wish for - sunny skies, walls of snow and scenery to take your breath away. We were so blessed to get this done with the unseasonably wet and cold weather we’ve had. We’ve headed off to the Dolomites for the next four days now where the scenery just keeps on getting better 😍

The weather finally broke for us this morning with bright sunshine and warm temperatures when we opened the shutters. Off we went up the Passo Gavia in superb conditions then a few continued up the Lago di Cancano to complete an awesome day on the bike.

We are so pleased to be back here at our favourite hotel on the shores of Lake Como for the first two nights of our Grande Italia tour for 2024! After a chilled arrival day by the lake we set off this morning on a 50km loop up the Ghisallo Pass to the Madonna del Ghisallo chapel and a wander through the filled with all manner of cycling memorabilia from across the ages. Some took on the Muro di Sormano in our way back to the hotel while others took the sensible route. We are all back lakeside for the afternoon soaking up the sun after a juicy bruschetta salad on the terrace then we’ll head into Bellagio for a look a little later this afternoon before dinner in our hotel restaurant.

Yesterday we rode the hardest climb in the Girona region, Rocacorba! With grades of up to 17%, that just don’t let up, it’s Girona’s answer to the Mortirolo. Today was our final ride day and what better way to finish off than a ride along the Costa Brava coast to Tossa de Mar for some lunch by the beach. Weather here has been awesome so our rooftop pool has been a post ride treat. Tomorrow we drop everyone off in Barcelona for the final leg of their trip. and what a trip it’s been. Over 10,000m gained across this tour!

Big day yesterday on our transfer ride from Andorra to Girona. We left in 4 degree temps and zero wind shear and once we caught a glimpse of the top of the Porte de Envalira around 10km up the climb we knew we were going to get some specky views on the summit. Snow as far as the eye could see but it was 18 degrees in the sun! The descent was stunning, lunch in Puigcerda a grab and go at the bakery then up the La Molina we went. The final descent to Ripoll was just reward for another big day in the saddle and the rooftop bar and pool at our hotel a fitting finish to another spectacular day.

What an amazing place to spend a rest day. Lots of walking, eating, drinking coffee and napping then more walking and eating! Such a colourful and vibrant city that does food exceptionally well 👌 Tomorrow we ride across 3 country borders again on our way to our final destination city, Girona.

A Bientot France, Ola Andorra! It took 152km and 3900m to get here but what a day it turned out to be. Things looked dodgy early on our first 10km summit up the Portillon but by a few ks down the other side into Spain things began to look up… we rode up the valley to Vielha then onwards and upwards 20km to the summit of the Porte de la Bonaigua where the fog made the summit sign difficult to find but by 2km the down the otherside we were bathed in sunshine and blessed with the views they came all this way to see. Lunch in Sort was well earned after punching into a head wind for 30km through the valley then we began the final 20km climb up the Port del Cantos. The descent wasn’t your typical downhill reward for all that effort but our final destination and restaurant in Andorra definitely was! After crossing 3 Countries in one day we are looking forward to a good nights sleep and a rest day tomorrow exploring some of what this amazing country has to offer

We’ve had a couple of inclement days in the Pyrenees but these boys came a long way to climb mountains so they didn’t let another day with a little drizzle deter them from ticking off the Superbagneres before we pull out of Luchon tomorrow. The climb up was awesome but the ride down was a little dodgy so we made the downhill to higher visibility in the van. After a hot coffee and quick wardrobe change into dry kit we headed down the valley to St Bertrand de Comminges for a look at the ancient Roman ruins and another coffee sitting in front of the cathedral. After a nice detour up Mont de Galie on the way back up the valley they called back into the house for some hot quiche and fresh baguettes to refuel then ticked off one more local ascent, up to the village of Artigue. Whew! After two days of rain it was a big day out to make up for it with 141km and 2,700m! Off to Andorra tomorrow ☺️ 🇦🇩 More mountains to climb!

We had a rest day yesterday after a big few days climbing mountains. We caught up on some washing, chilled in the garden, walked around town and finished off the day with a protein infusion at . Today was a classic 100km loop down the valley, the Col des Ares, Portet d’Aspet and Col de Mente with lunch at the cafe on the summit. Pizza and Salad for dinner at home tonight with a viewing of the Mark Cavendish doco in front of the tv with dessert

Big day for the lads yesterday on our Queen stage - 130km and 3,500m gained over the Tourmalet, Horquette d’Ancizan and Peyresourde. Stunning scenery on quiet roads and 30 degrees by the time we arrived in Luchon to unpack for 5 days in our amazing villa. Rest day today with a well earned sleep in.

Wow! 🤩 Today’s 104.5km loop is probably one of the most epic days we’ve had on the bike. The weather was outstanding which made the challenge of the Col de Spandelles a pleasure to take on and the knock out scenery of the Col du Soulor and Col d’Aubisque have made this loop our new Pyrenean favourite 😍 The Pyrenees just knocks it out of the park every year but when you have days like this you never want to leave

We can’t believe the 2024 Giro d’Italia is almost over already 😳 Where has the last 3 weeks gone? Watching the race has us very excited to be heading back to Italy in a couple of weeks for our Grande Italia tour, riding some of those same roads and planning the return of a Giro tour to our tour calendar in 2025!

So our tour of Tasmania is done and dusted for another year… After an amazing breakfast at on the Mersey River everyone’s bikes and luggage are safely secured in our custom built trailer ready for transfer to the airport…but even though our riding is all done we still like to show off some of Tassie’s ‘off the bike’ activities with a few stop offs on the way to the airport. is an amazing shop of curiosities that we always take our guests to before heading home because there is no other shop like it that we know of. From collectable porcelain dolls to 8ft tall dinosaurs, wrought iron door k***s and door knockers for the reno specialists, bottles of local wines and fudge or a full suit of armour complete with broad sword, it’s truly a shop of treasures for young and old alike. Then it’s into Oliver’s for one of their world famous sausage rolls (we know because we quality test every bakery we go to globally!) and then it’s lunch at the for a serving of their pancakes and scones and a pack of their truly delectable chocolate covered raspberries to go! Now that everyone is absolutely full to the brim with some last minute fresh Tassie produce it’s time to say goodbye… Thanks so much everyone for joining us on our Lap of the Map of Tasmania. It’s been an absolute pleasure showing you around our beautiful backyard. Safe travels home. We hope to see you all again some time soon ❤️ 2025 dates released soon so stay tuned VeloKicks KASK sport

From Strahan to Cradle Mountain we rode where we were treated to a visit from some of the local wombats as we ambled along Dove Lake. The following morning was a beautiful ride from Cradle into Devonport for lunch on the river and an afternoon wandering around this pretty town. The last morning we got up with the sun and rode the stunningly beautiful old coast road to Stubbsy’s home town to visit the Big Penguin 🥰 This was our final ride of our tour and what a finale it was. It’s off to the airport and the hardest part of any tour, saying our farewells….

Our luck with the weather in Hobart held up for our early morning ride up Kunanyi/Mt Wellington on Saturday morning 🙏 Despite a forecast of high winds and below zero temps the winds didn’t eventuate but the less than civilised temps did! We got the crew up, and down, safely with a big green tick ✅ next to that individual achievement then the rest of the day included a wander around Salamanca Market and a ferry ride out to for a look around Hobart’s famous conversation starter, the museum of old and new art. Sadly we said farewell to one of our group members who did the east coast sector of the tour before heading back home to California while the rest of us continued our way up the west coast yesterday. We stopped in at Derwent Bridge to see the Wall in the Wilderness, the amazing 100m long Huon Pine art sculpture that has taken artist Greg Duncan over 10 years to date to create then high winds and rain dictated our ride to Queenstown for lunch be in the bus instead of on the bikes… We arrived in Strahan and checked into our lovely terrace spa rooms then headed out to explore town before dinner with a view up on the hill 🙌 Everyone is off on the Gordon River Cruise today where they’ll enjoy a guided tour of the historic Sarah Island penal colony and a lovely lunch on the glass like waters of the stunning Gordon River. This evening we’ll see the hilarious outdoor play The Ship That Never Was before dinner to finish off a lovely 2 day stay in Strahan ❤️ KASK sport

So we’ve been riding and walking the legs off this bunch of wonderful humans since we left St Helens on Thursday morning. We rode to Bicheno then had lunch at cellar door then transferred to Freycinet National Park to do the compulsory ‘walk’ up to the Wineglass Bay Lookout when you’re on the East Coast of Tassie 😉 We enjoyed a night in the seaside hamlet of Swansea then hit the road for Hobart Town ☺️ With three ride options to choose from, some rode the 60km to coffee, others rode 114km to lunch in Richmond and then the crazy mob ride the full 145km to our hotel door in the city 😃 Dinner at Upper Deck Restaurant capped off a tough but magic day exploring more of Tasmania from the seat of our bikes 🚴🏻 KASK sport

We’re back in Tassie for our annual Lap of the Map tour with a great group of people from far and wide 🥰 We’ve experienced some fabulous weather over the first few days with a balmy 27 degrees for our 161km ride from Launceston to St Helens today! Special thanks to and Matty for riding up the Sideling with us this morning ☺️ The roads were lovely and quiet which made our ride up the Weldborough Pass through the jungle of man ferns so spectacular. Everyone is tucked up in bed looking forward to another amazing day on the bike tomorrow ☀️

And another great tour comes to an end…. So many laughs, such stunning scenery and good weather, if you don’t count the odd headwind or two 😉 and just 3 flats the whole way 👌 The roads here are fabulous with wider lanes and courteous drivers and let’s not get started on the amazing food! It’s time to say goodbye to all the lovely people we’ve reconnected with and those we’ve met for the first time 🥰 Safe travels home everyone. We hope we see you again some time soon 👋
