This week absolutely turned it on for the reccy ride down south. Hopefully get together some routes in the SW for other big adventure bikes to enjoy and share the GPX files for 😉👍

Huge thanks to Nelson down at Adventure On Store for the bday they gave my KTM this week after barely being ridden for six months. It's had new fork seals, new tyres , new brake pads, sprockets and chain ... Rides like a dream after 90,000 on the clock. Here's to another 90,000 of great memories, starting next week with a fantastic adventure ride down to the south coast of west Australia, my favourite part of the country!! Can't wait to camp in my tent and fly my drone 👌😎

Thailand Tour update.

Due to the combination of shocking weather conditions, recent flooding in Chiang Mai and Mae Hong Son, plus short notice for this years tour we have had limited interest in the Mae Hong Son loop for 2024 so will be rescheduling this for early in 2025. Mother nature, what can you do!

New dates will be posted on the website, and on facebook in the coming week. We will use this opportunity to take new marketing material.

PS - Mongolia 2025 is already booked out, but I will have more rides in Asia and North America online before Xmas! Keep it rubber side down everyone.

One year ago I led the Mae Hong son loop tour for the first time.

It was a decade since I'd explored the north of Thailand, and honestly it's just gotten better. Not many countries or rides get better the more you do them, but this bucks the trend and continues to amaze me with it's seemingly endless amount of twisties and the quality of roads is spectacular, nothing like other rural and remote parts of Asia. This is special.

I decided to break into two smaller groups rather than one large one because I prefer the feel of having everyone connected on a ride.

There's a mixture of behind the scenes type photos here from the first group, not my usual professional type marketing shots. This gives you a true sense of the feel of the trip, the good and bad and everything in between.

Some fantastic riding and amazing memories with the guys. We really enjoyed the entire trip and have lasting memories and friendships from it !!

If you're interested to join this year's tour we are only having a small group but I've decided to lengthen the ride to include some of my favourite roads and places in Chiang Rai as well. Contact me if you have any questions 🙏😁

Day 2 was a little bit more relaxed, we set off from our little gers about lunchtime and hit the tarmac for an hour towards Ugii lake. We had 100km of dirt roads exploring around the lake and then some great trails to try make it to khairkhan in the north but a huge storm approached! We ducked into another town just in time and found a hotel to watch the storm pass... A few beers and some goulash later and it's bedtime! But the sun is still up (830pm). Tomorrow we push towards khovsgol lake but will be a long day riding the little shineray to get there !!

Huge thanks to all the guys and gals who have jumped on the Northern Thailand ride for October & November!

I can't wait to get over there, grab our bikes and ride off into the mountains, it's going to be epic.

We are 'sold out' and at full capacity for both tours. Only a few more weeks until we're sucking back a few Changs' on Koh San Rd in Bangkok.

I have a tonne of great rides coming together for 2024.. Mongolia, Himalayas, Thailand, Phillipines, Indonesia and I'm proud to announce the first official tours I have led in Canada, where I spent 5 years exploring the rockies and camping in some of the worlds most beautiful terrain.

Those should all be up on the website by Christmas time, ready to hook into a huge year of riding on road and dirt all over the world again.
