Day trip from Hakuba to visit the quaint town of Matsumoto and its famous castle.

A magical few days spent in Hakuba.
Surrounded by gorgeous snowy mountains with 10 ski resorts to choose from.
It is a winter wonderland.
We took the train to Matsumoto to see its famous castle and had a fun night out tasting different local food and tasting Sake in this quaint town.
A visit to see The Snow Monkeys was a real highlight.
Such an amazing trip.
Japan is filled with so many wonderful experiences.

This week I was invited to spend a few hours onboard Viking Neptune. She was in Melbourne for two days and halfway through her Round the world cruise. This did not feel like your average ship. Its spacious interiors were designed by a hotelier and it is evident as you walk throughout this ship. It is stylish, modern yet cosy and its Nordic heritage is matched by its smart Scandinavian decor.
With only 930 fellow guests, You have the feeling of staying in a beautiful floating boutique hotel with no kids or casinos, just fine food and wine, exciting destinations and amazing adventures waiting for you in each Port. A wonderful Day spent onboard the boutique and very stylish Azamara Journey.
Only 694 passengers, it feels intimate, comfortable with plenty of light filled spaces, stunning artwork and floristry.
Plenty of entertainment, interesting cruise itineraries with overnight stays. Fine dining with lovely specialty restaurants and beer and wine included with lunch and dinner. Are you ready to cruise?
