We know that MANY of you have been waiting for a crochet cruise, and here it is! We will have Petra from Black Sheep Crochet joining us for a 7 night crochet cruise to the Barrier Reef! We will have 2 full days to enjoy the beautiful Airlie Beach, and plenty of hooking time on the way there and back.

Petra is designing an exclusive project especially for our cruise, and you can potentially make some of her old favourite patterns as well. 🙂

We are so excited to be partnering with Jane McDonald from BeBe Bold on our first ever Christmas Cruise!!!

We will be cruising on Virgin Voyages' Resilient Lady (which is perfect, cause aren't we all resilient ladies??). Our 5 night cruise departs from Melbourne on 16 December and heads down to Hobart for a full day and night in port. We will head back to Melbourne, arriving on 21 December feeling all refreshed and ready to head into the festive season.

Are you familiar with fabric collage? If not, would you like to be? Our New Zealand cruise next year (departing 29 Jan 2024) is the perfect introduction to this wonderful craft. We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Veronica Appleyard from Appleyard Cottage who is bringing Laura Heine to Australia for a series of trunk shows in early 2024. Veronica and Laura will also be joining us for an 11 night cruise to New Zealand, and you're all invited!!!

Well, we can't quite fit all of you, but we will be hosting 2 groups for a 2 day workshop each as well as trunk shows at sea, and visiting some of the most beautiful places in the world across the ditch as well. This is a dream come true for Laura and Veronica, the Crafty Adventures team, and I'm sure for many of you!

We are excited to release full details of our epic trip in June 2023 to the Alice Springs Beanie Festival and Uluru. This will be a trip you don't want to miss with lots of bucket list inclusions!

You can also spend the next 10 months making lots of beanies to sell at the festival. You can sell up to 10 beanies, or if you'd like to volunteer at the festival, you can sell up to 50!

It's time to dust of your passport and join us for a 7 night cruise through the beautiful Yasawa Islands in Fiji!

We will be sailing on the MV Reef Endeavour which is a small ship with 65 cabins, so a maximum of 130 passengers, and 50 crew (I'm told the crew are Aussies and Fijians), so we will be able to get in nice and close to explore the beautiful islands.

The itinerary has been specially designed to include a mix of beaches, snorkelling, as well as some awesome cultural activities which are not usually offered on these cruises. It is not the standard itinerary and won't be repeated. You can get involved in as many or as few of the day trips as you like, and all are included in the fare (the only optional extras are a bus trip on day 3 at additional cost of approx $50, and optional cave lagoon visit for approx $15 on day 6).

This last minute deal is 25% off, so pricing starts from just $2,799 per person twin share for a porthole cabin, $3,250 per person twin share for a category C Ocean cabin (with access to the deck straight from your cabin), or $3,550 per person twin share for a category B ocean cabin. The fare includes your 7 night cruise, all meals, shore excursions (which are mostly twice daily), use of snorkelling equipment, easy access glass bottom boat tours, lots of opportunities to meet the beautiful Fijian people and experience their culture (including a children's choir performance at a local church on day 2 which I'm really looking forward to), entertainment onboard, and so much more.

Don’t have anyone to travel with?? Well, more good news…you can book your very own cabin for just a 25% supplement!!! You will have plenty of new friends and perhaps future travel buddies by the end of the cruise.

The fare also includes a Crafty Adventures crochet/embroidery kit valued at over $200. We will have formal and informal crafting get togethers throughout the cruise, and there is an opportunity to also purchase a scrapbooking kit and participate in scrapbooking workshops for an additional $200. Our crochet project will be supporting an amazing Ukranian designer, and in turn she is helping her community by buying medical supplies for sick and injured Ukranians with the proceeds from her pattern sales, as well as supporting herself.

As always, non-crafty family and friends are welcome, so please feel free to share this amazing deal with anyone who you think may like to join us. Non-crafters will receive a discount of $200 and of course are welcome to join in any and all of the activities and entertainment onboard, and join us socially while we get crafty.
I am able to assist with flights, transfers and accommodation before/after the cruise if you'd like to extend your stay. You will need to arrive in Fiji at least 1 day before the cruise in order to be at the port in time for our departure, but will be able to fly home on the last day of the cruise in the afternoon if you wish.
Fiji requires visitors to be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 in order to enter without quarantine or approval, but you will need to have a covid rapid antigen test within 72 hours of arrival (I presume before boarding the ship, but I'm waiting for that to be confirmed). Testing is no longer required before returning to Australia.

Bookings are open now, and full payment will be required for the cruise by 31 July. I know it's only 7 weeks away, but that makes it all the more exciting!!!
