Just a quick PSA

If you have an invoice due and are paying via payID or bank transfer, PLEASE do not leave it until the last moment. If you are wanting to pay by card, then can you please let me know so I can process this payment over the phone.

Just as I’ve been noticing some delays in payments from banks over the last few weeks and I unfortunately cannot extend the final payment date which will mean that the booking will automatically cancel on my suppliers end and any money paid will be forfeited.

And for some suppliers (cruise lines), they have waitlists to which someone else will get your room due to the popularity of that sailing.

Please, as always do not hesitate to reach out if you have a question.

Hey everyone,

Hope everyone has had a great last few months with Easter and Mothers Day.

I am still very much here (have had a few personal issues over the last few months with sickness within our family) so don’t feel like you can’t reach out if you have a question in relation to your booking.

Just a small reminder - that I am only doing cruises due to just still trying to get that work/life balance with working a full time job as well as finding time to be with my family.

For those of you who have due dates for cruises coming up next month, I will be sending invoices with your final payment tonight.

Just posting in relation to Disney bookings.

I know there is alot of talk on forums about port fee refunds and I am only just starting to be told about them from you guys.

I am just currently awaiting refunds for these port fees that have been getting refunded and I am sorry for the slow process.

Disney has not been the best cruise line to deal with when it comes to communication especially as I have to go through my supplier to get information.

As soon as I have heard about your refund, I will be in contact to be able to refund you and once again, I am so sorry for this delay.

Hello!

I haven’t wanted to put this up but after being ignored, it’s time.

Please DO NOT message me via the business or via text asking me if I can grab you something from where I have posted about being on my business page because you have missed out or would really like something.

I am such a kind hearted person that that is exactly what I did recently for 2 clients for when I was on my Disney Cruise last month (including waiting in line for an hour to get them and personally delivering them as well).

My business is now currently out of pocket $189.50 due to this and I know for some this isn’t a lot of money but for my small business, that amount is my insurance for 2 months.

I don’t add any extra fees currently when I quote you because I don’t want to be that person but that is also changing soon once I have finished doing my training for my back office to ensure things run more smoothly.

So please, do not take me or Wife Life Travels for granted just because I am a small business and not a big one like certain shopping centre locations.

I still am very much the same as them in terms of selling travel and being a business.

Grinchmas in July is coming back for 2024!!!

Returning to Carnival Splendor in 2024 due to popular demand, the Grinch-themed cruises will bring the very best of ‘Christmas in July’ traditions to sea, allowing Aussie guests the fun of a wintery Christmas experience. Throughout the four sailings, the ship will be transformed into a magical winter wonderland with a giant Christmas tree with glittering lights and baubles galore, Christmas-themed beverages and speciality dining items as well as a dusting of winter ‘snow’ in the atrium.

The Grinch himself will join the festivities with special appearances and a screening of How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the Dive-In Movies. The festive glee on the sea continues as guests with a ‘Jingle Bell Jam’ soundtrack, as well as Christmas carolling, holiday games, trivia and arts and crafts. There’s even an ugly Christmas sweater night and festive outfit competition.

Carnival’s Grinchmas in July sailings depart from Sydney starting from 24 of June 2024 and the full list of sailings include:

Monday 24 June: 10-night sailing to the South Pacific visiting three amazing ports including Noumea, Mystery Island and Lifou
Thursday 4 July: 4-night sailing including a trip to the picturesque Moreton Island, one of Australia's best kept secrets
Monday 8 July: 9-night sailing to the South Pacific, sailing around the stunning South Pacific islands and soaking up the sunshine in Noumea whilst stopping off at other stunning locations such as Mystery Island and Lifou.
Wednesday 17 July: 4-night sailing stopping off at Moreton Island, one of Queensland’s stunning island paradises

The sailings form part of Carnival’s ongoing Dr Seuss partnership and their ‘Seuss at Sea’ offerings, including the Green Eggs and Ham breakfast, Seussapalooza and Seuss Storytime. Ensuring a very merry time for all, the Grinchmas in July themed fun comes in addition to the 45+ activities that guests have come to know and love onboard a Carnival cruise.

Hello!!!

Welcome to all my new followers and likes.

Let me reintroduce myself - I’m Amber and proud owner of Wife Life Travels. I created WLT from my love of travel and travelling on a budget.

From that, I’ve travelled to 5 continents and 21 countries, have been to 3 Disneys (Paris Disney, Tokyo Disney/Disney Sea and Disney in Anaheim) and 3 Universals (Singapore, Osaka and Hollywood). I love theme parks and that is one of my main motivations for travel. I love food and trying exotic foods and I love cruising.

I first created my business in the beginning of 2020 just before COVID hit (what a business model aye? 😂).

I officially started back in August 2023 just before Disney Cruise Line announced they were coming down under.

From that, I have been slow and steady and getting into the groove of my small business including learning valuable things when it comes to owning a small business.

This year is offering bigger and better things, not just for me but also WLT. I am adding a mid office system to help me streamline processes better but also adding more education in my year to help me not only better WLT but also to be able to offer you guys even more.

And I am hoping to try to find the right space to work out of starting 1 day a week so continue furthering my teeny tiny business.

So please - like, share and recommend my business (especially if you’d booked through me) and can’t wait to share what 2024 brings.

Big News from P&O Australia. This is effective from today, 15 November 2023.

P&O Cruises will be implementing changes to their Deposit, Final Payment and Refund schedule.

P&O have also released June 2025 to January 2026 departures for sale. These new cruises will depart from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Auckland.

These changes will only apply to new bookings made and does not impact any existing bookings created before this effective date.

Summary of changes include:

• Deposit for all guests (including children) for departures of 1 to 4 nights will be $100 per guest.

• Final payment on all bookings made from 15 Nov 23 will now be due 90 days prior to departure.

• Value Plus Fare receives Premium WiFi Package.
