A medium par 3, the 4th features a narrow green at the front that widens towards the back. If the pin is close to the front of the green, it is wise to hit a little past the flag to the wider part of the putting surface.

The long, narrow green requires precision and is best approached from the right of the fairway. Distance control is tested here as putting from above the hole can be a challenge.

A strong par 4, the best approach off the tee is to aim as close to the right-hand side fairway bunkers as possible. The green features a heavy slope so you’ll need to maintain concentration to hit the perfect second shot.

The Royal Melbourne Golf Club’s, par 3, 7th on the West Course.

The right hand side of the green features heavy bunkering, however, those that can accurately carry the bunker will be rewarded with the flattest part of the green for a second shot putt. For those looking to play it safe to the left, be wary of the long slope on the green that makes putting a challenge.
