Queensland Workforce Skilling Strategy The Queensland Workforce Skilling Strategy gives Queensland job seekers the opportunity to get trained and ready for long term sustainable employment.

Skills Preparation
The Queensland Workforce Skilling Strategy provides group and individual activities to ensure job readiness. This includes the following and more:
• Medicals
• Industry tours
• Job search preparation

Industry and Skills Support
Provides accredited training including:
• Vocational work experience
• Hands on experience
• Individual mentor support

Support includes:
• Training mat

erials and resources
• Personal protective clothing
• Mentoring

Employment

Energy Skills Queensland is seeking highly motivated and interested candidates for a Rail Project. Local participants will be selected to undertake rail industry training and inductions which will equip them with highly practical rail requirements and skills.
Energy Skills Queensland will be presenting a series of information sessions in Brisbane. These sessions will provide information to the community about the availability and eligibility for training and employment within the Rail Industry. If you wish to register your interest, please attend the information session on 9 August 2017 at either 10am or 2pm and Energy Skills Queensland located at 70 Sylvan Road Toowong
Registrations for all programmes will be open on the day of the information sessions. Candidates interested in attending a session can book a place by emailing [email protected] or telephone 07 3721 8800.
