The STBF’s bilby-saving expenses are projected to significantly increase this year, due to the cost-of-living crisis and the need for more human specialists to help with the on-the-ground work.

Saving the bilby is within reach, but we can’t do it with out you all! ❤️

Great weather for farmers! But not so much for roads 😅

Greyhound services in Outback Queensland have been affected by flood closures on the Landsborough Highway 🌧

🚫 GX493 that departed Brisbane yesterday (Tuesday 25 March) has been cancelled between Longreach to Mount Isa

🚫 GX494 that departed Mount Isa today (Wednesday 26 March) has been cancelled between Cloncurry to Ilfracombe

✅ GX494 will depart Barcaldine today at 3:15pm as per regular timetable & continue through to Brisbane

Meanwhile, it's great news for everyone in North Queensland😃 All Greyhound services are operating as normal between Cairns & Townsville 🥳

Greyhound services between Cairns & Townsville have been cancelled today, Tuesday 25 March due to highway closures/flooding 🚫🛣️

Might look into buying a boat soon ngl ⛵

At this stage it looks like HOPEFULLY we’ll be running again as normal tomorrow (Wednesday) 🤞

We've been operating since 1905. From servicing just one town in the beginning, our network now covers most of the Australian mainland, employs over 600 people, and services more than 5 million passengers every year.

Greyhound Australia coaches are built with everything a modern traveller desires - seat selection, USB chargers , free WiFi, and reclining leather seats. Every bus in our fleet is fitted with large, panoramic windows and oversized seats so that you can sit back, relax and let us drive while you enjoy the view. Plus, most of our buses have onboard bathroom facilities.
