I feel honoured to receive the award for Individual Excellence in Aboriginal Tourism Western Australia. I have dedicated most of my life to Aboriginal Tourism and creating experiences and awareness for country and culture. Well done to all finalists and other operators working on country, success in any bussiness doesn’t happen without a great team and positive working relationships.

Congratulations to Josh Whiteland from Koomal Dreaming who won the Individual Excellence in Aboriginal Tourism Award tonight. The award was accepted on Josh's behalf by WAITOC CEO Rob Taylor at the 2024 Perth Airport WA Tourism Conference in Mandurah. Special mention also to the beautiful Rebecca Sampi from Kingfisher Tours WA, and all the other amazing and talented nominees!

Tomorrow some of our local kids are getting together to fundraise for their mate Joel West. If you are in Dunsborough please pop in to Djiljit Mia Community Gathering Place to show your support for Joel and the West family.
