Last days in Colombo, visiting the beautiful Royal Audience Hall, a copy of the Hall in Kandy, which was started during the reign of King Rajaasinghe , 1779- 1797 and built in wood.
We have had a terrific trip, much diversity, a lot of laughs and good food.

The Dutch Burger Union Club in Colombo, where the traditional dish is Lamprais, a mixture of rice , chicken, meat and chutneys, wrapped in a banana leaf. Delicious, very old recipe, still popular today. Especially with Pathways guests!

The Lion Rock, Sigyria. A day of activity again, with a village visit, a boat ride on the reservoir, traditional Sri Lankan lunch, and a bullock ride.

The old library of Jaffna, which suffered badly in the civil war in the north.
