Did you know there are 82 domes in the mosque and they are decorated with versus from the holy Quran. The mosque can accommodate 31,000 worshippers and the courtyard is adorned with flowers from the Middle East such as Tulip, Lily and Iris. The carpet in the main prayer hall is the worlds largest hand knotted carpet at 5,400 square meters and was made by approximately 12,000 artisans and took about two years to make. Truly stunning.
