The BDGA Junior Golf Squad is open to any BDGA Junior Club member between the age of 12 - 17 with a handicap of between 9 - 27. A limit of 2 golfers per club may be enforced.

Congrats to our Brisbane Junior Amateur Champions

Congratulations to Allegra De Guzman and Jedd Brady, the winners of the 2023 Brisbane Junior Amateur Championship. Today was an incredible day of golf hosted by the BDGA and BDLGA at the The Brisbane Golf Club. We are proud to announce Allegra as the winner in the girls' category with impressive rounds of 69 and 71. In the boys' category, Jedd Brady claimed the title with rounds of 73 and 76. We also take this opportunity to express our admiration for all the participants who took part in this championship.

Congratulations to all the 120 players that contested the 2021 Brisbane Amateur Championships at Nudgee Golf Course today. After a wet start the course dried up nicely for some good golf by all.

Given the current health advice from the Qld Govt, the BDGA have no choice but to cancel the remaining pennant matches for 2021.

The 2021 pennant draw (& divisions) will be used in 2022 with dates to be confirmed. (Please note all results from this year will not be used)

The BDGA encourages all golfers to support their local clubs and continue to enjoy golf for recreational purposes.

BDGA Clubs and Players - With the latest news from the Qld State Govt, the BDGA Pennant to be played on Sunday August will not be held. Please stay home and stay safe and follow the recommendations from the Health Dep. The Management Committee will work through what will happen with this round over the coming days.

The 2021 Brisbane Junior Amateur Championships have finished in wet conditions with local The Brisbane Golf Club member Chris Somerfield taking the win. With scores of 69, 68 total 137 Chris dedicated the win to his mum and dad. Thanking them for all they have done, Chris noted that this was a win for all of them.

The Brisbane Junior Amateur Championships return to the Brisbane Golf Club in time to help celebrate their 125 year anniversary.

The event will be a combined boys and girls event for the first time and will bring together the BDGA and BDLGA to help promote junior golf across Brisbane. The event is a Greg Norman Junior Masters Qualifying Event.
