Well, it's almost that day of the year again...and I'm posting before midnight...because to be honest...it's been a massive couple of months, and I'm a bit tired....But, it's very important to me to acknowledge those who were lost on that September 11 day. The innocent lives, the emergency workers and animals, the wide collateral damage...from extended families to the almost annihilation of my industry. Today I will remember them, and today I will give thanks to the inspirational people who have kept me going through volcanoes erupting, SARS, planes falling out of the sky, planes being shot out of the sky, and yes...Covid. Very special thank you to Matthew Upchurch, Karen and Roy Merricks, Lisa Pagotto, Dennis Bunnik, to all of my MTA colleagues, past and present, but especially Kirsty Thomas-Thoeun, Kim Rudd, Rhona Rodgers, Silvia Wilkinson, Sandra Sirianni....and last...but certainly not least, my wonderful husband and business partner Brian Edwards, this afternoon I will raise a glass to you. To all of my amazing clients, if I promised you something today, I will, as always, deliver. If you are sending a new enquiry, I will respond to your email on September 12. May we never forget, and forever be grateful that although the world has changed forever....we are still standing.

I had the perfect work/life/community day today. Volunteering at our local pool, watching lovely repeat clients flights depart to Italy, send final docs to first time clients on a bucketlist 60th birthday trip to Egypt and Jordan . Then kayaking at Double Island Point...a bit more work...and now a lovely red...and a spa! Honestly, thanks to MTA...I've nailed it!

After returning from an amazing 6 week adventure in Europe, this is so apt! I thoroughly appreciate having shared this experience with my best friend, (and husband) He drove me around, he laughed with, and at me. We made wonderful memories, explored new destinations and enjoyed revisiting some too. We created memories that will make us smile long into the future. Choose wisely people 😘 PS Choose your travel agent wisely as well!!!

As a little girl my neighbours visited The Spanish Riding School in Vienna, and sent me postcards, sparking a lifelong desire to go myself...when I did make that happen...the bonus was, Madi (a fellow horse lover) was there with me.
