1st Place Building Services was tasked with the comprehensive refurbishment of the Mountain View Community Centre for Aveo Group . We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the project, which includes upgrades to amenities, a salon, library, bar, manager's office, boardroom, administration office, sales office, gym, and dining/lounge areas.

Successful completion and handover of the final stage of this 3 staged / 6 month refurbishment to Mounties Health & Fitness for Mounties Club Mount Pritchard .. the new Reception for the Gym / Swim entry points, including office, 1st aid room, disabled toilet and parents room, 2x new vacant tenancy spaces for future use and the new curved reception counter ... not to mention the engineered fire seperation wall with drencher system with integrated glazed auto doors to benefit the Gym members with a more practical entry point.
Thank you to Team Mounties for their continued support during this project ... which has resulted in an amazing new space for the Members.

We are thrilled to announce the completion and handover of 'Stage2 - Females' (approx. 200sqm) of this 3 staged full refurbishment to Ignite Gym change rooms with 100 lockers, showers, sauna, DDA accessible toilet and full services upgrade including exhaust, lighting and fire services Mounties Club Mount Pritchard.

Despite working around the clock, full demolition and refurbishment works to the existing area were carried out while the remainder of the gym continued to operate, 24 hours a day. This was made possible by working closely with Club Management, ensuring all went seamlessly to deliver the Members an amazing new space to enjoy.

We're now onto the Entry, Reception and Members Services spaces and can't wait to bring the same level of excellence to that space. Stay tuned for more updates!

Full replacement of this failed retaining wall for Ventia and City of Sydney. From it's original 1960's brick foundations to fully Engineered cantilever footing and blockwork system, to retain the carpark above.

Recent completion of the full fitout for EML and PM by Cerno ... to their new offices at Tweed Heads ... including the initial full de-fit of the exiting space, full services upgrade ( Mech / Elect / Data / Fire / Security ) and detailed fitout of all areas including Architecturally designed floor finishes and joinery works.

1st Place Building Services were honoured to handover our recently completed full refurbishment of the largest indoor multi-sports centre, of it's kind, in an Australian Club ... at Mounties, Mt Pritchard. This included 'Starz' reception/conference room with adjoining bar, 10 lane bowls and competition table tennis area, snooker room, 'Murphys' sports bar and lounge, pivoting competition dart panels, meeting room, store rooms, 2 toilet / amenity blocks and DDA compliant ramps .... allowing the Mounties members, Sub-Clubs and Community to enjoy an amazing facility generously provided by the Mounties Group.

Working closely with Kernel Property, we have now completed the de-fit to this detailed Panasonic tenancy fitout, over two levels, and makegood back to base building, at Macquarie Park. This project included the modification to all services, re-instatement of all new ceilings, bulkheads and lighting, the makegood to the extensively modified access flooring, the decommissioning and removal to the fully equiped Comms Room and to re-carpet and makegood all services ...

The challenges of managing the Covid restrictions on our building projects have been dealt with diligently and efficiently thanks to our 1st Place team and systems, all in place on our current makegood project of the Panasonic tenancy, over 2 levels, for our very good clients Kernel Property ... during the defit/demo works ... it always looks worse before it looks better !

A sneak peek of our refurbishment project at the Mounties Club which is now well on the way with approx.1800sqm of modifications and upgrade works to the Sports Sub Club areas ( bowls / table tennis / darts / snooker / sports bar and function centre ) ... including full refresh to two amenity blocks, refurb of two sports bars, new meeting room, new store rooms, new lighting, full repaint, graphics and carpet.

The conversion of existing multiple areas within the Mounties Club into one 1500sqm kids play centre, in the middle of the operating club, was the challenge set for us ... and here are the colourful and amazing results ! from full design of fitout and of all essential services, full de-fit back to shell, engineering and install of curved and ramped steel bridge, new toilet block, fully insulated ceiling, 4x themed party rooms and 1x disco room, refurb and upgrade to commercial kitchen and equipment, full refurb to lift - over 3 levels and all with 'jungle' themed carpet, lighting and finishes.

What a "fun" project for our team, converting the 'cold' shell' space into what is being boasted as "Australia's most exciting new children's play centre" ... ... this has been an exciting initiative by the Mounties Group and this centre being the first, with more to come !
