If I had to choose a time to glamp in @margaretriver, it would be these next few months while campfires are still allowed.
If you’ve camped around a fire, you’ll know that pure happiness. If you haven’t, don’t let the chance pass you by.
We’ve had chefs, celebrities, adventurers, lovers and locals around our #gourmetglamp fire and all have felt its magic.
With fire tools by local artisan @jhustonblacksmith, it’s cooked everything from @thefarmhousemr finest steaks and @rarefoodsau abalone to bacon, eggs and literally hundreds of marshmallows (fun fact: we supply them).
To be honest, a campfire is probably my favourite thing - it really can bring great joy, connection and peace.
What we’ve learned over the past few years is that not everyone knows how to build one or get it going. Which is why we usually have it all ready to light or can help show you how.
We supply the best firewood, cast iron cooking pans, stainless grill, toasting forks… even a jaffle iron for the best camp toasties.

The hunger for winter/#Makuru camping at our Gourmet Glamp has been so inspiring this year… we have been almost fully booked! We go to great lengths to make sure our luxury camp experience is cosy and warm: there’s the campfire of course but we also have tent heating, electric blankets, @creswickwool wraps, woolly socks, thick fluffy bathrobes, @bahenandco hot chocolate, @margaretriverroasting coffee and @sevenseastea, hot outdoor bath and shower and cosy @bedtonic linens to make sure you are super comfortable while enjoying the privacy of our beautiful camp.
The good (and slightly puzzling) news is that we have lots of August/#Djilba availability, so it’s a great time to experience @margaretriver and a fireside red at our neighbouring wineries!

All ready for the weekend! From tomorrow we can finally have campfires any time of the day and night (instead of 6-11pm)… looks like tonight is the best option for our weekend guests with an epic amount of rain finally on its way!
We had almost run our water tank dry for the first time so really looking forward to this top up. Meanwhile our guests can snuggle up dry and warm in the tent with the heating, electric blankets, books, games, cafe station and hopefully and delicious Margaret River cabernet.

We’ve been getting a lot of guest love for our free-to-roam chickens, and they’re only to happy to give back.
Their beautiful eggs star alongside @thefarmhousemr free-range bacon in our beloved Margaret River breakfast basket, and we gift them whenever they’re in excess.
These gals are amazing at keeping weevils down in the vineyard, and feast superbly on our scraps.
Foxes abound and we’ve had some catastrophes, so at night they’re locked up snugly in their tin and bush pole house.
Another little joy to cherish here. 🐓

Thought I’d sneak down to the tent with my early morning cuppa to watch the sun rise… took Mabel a whole two minutes to find me 🐾. We’ve had full house ⛺️ over summer so it’s lovely to pop down between guests and remember just why everyone has cherished this experience. A brief rush of passing farm utes reminds me our neighbouring vineyards are already in the thick of an early harvest, and that we’ll be picking our own small plot very soon. There’s still plenty of summer to enjoy, but I can’t help thinking about the campfires to come and, judging by our autumn/winter enquires, you might be too🔥🍷
