Model engines www.modelengines.com.au The two principals, Tony & Mike Farnan, have been involved in hobbies all their lives.

Tony Farnan is a former Australian National and State Champion in many categories of Control Line Flying as well as a former National and State Champion in Radio Control Aerobatics. Mike Farnan has had many years’ experience in R/C model boats, cars, aircraft and helicopters. In 1988, he won the Australian National R/C buggy title and after commencing to fly R/C helicopters in 1992, has flown as a

member of the Australian F3C helicopter team in the World Championships in Austria, Japan, Turkey, Poland and USA. Mike has won the Australian National and State F3C helicopter titles many times and currently holds the official FAI world non-stop R/C helicopter duration record of 134kms. In addition, he is in the 2002 Guinness Book of Records for a long distance R/C model helicopter flight of 300kms over water. Our staff of 22 is made up mainly of experienced R/C modelers in all categories, many of them State and National titleholders.

Team Associated has a successful weekend at the 2024 RCRA 1/10 Off Road Queensland State Titles, hosted by Chargers RC.

After taking a holiday from racing Christopher Sturdy CS13 picked up where he left off taking the double win 🥇🏆 in 2wd and 4wd Modified with his and .2. Teammates Jayden Edmunds RC Racing and Damon Davis-Perry rounded out the modified podiums 🥈🥈🥉🥉, which resulted in a Team Associated podium lockout.

Rewinding the clock himself Paul Mason had a stellar performance taking with W 🏆🥇 in 2wd Stock with his .4. Rob Maycock took the win 🥇🏆 in Short Course with the .4 and ReedyPower.

Chloe RC Racing, Lawrance and "Twitch" Cosic had some standout performances, putting their AE rides into A Finals! 🔥
Congratulations to all competitors and the club on another successful event.
