Just ask your personal travel manager (PTM) 🪄

Rather than spending hours browsing through overwhelming travel options and trying to compare prices on your own, you can trust the planning and booking process to your travel advisor. With their expertise and access to exclusive deals, your PTM can craft an itinerary tailored specifically to your preferences and budget.

This is just one of the many reasons why our clients keep coming back to TravelManagers Australia trip after trip.

A great day today spent onboard Disney Wonder. A fabulous ship with Disney’s incredible attention to detail. Not just for little kids either, big kids are well catered for with the front of the ship being an adults only area. Good sized cabins, although with all that is on offer to do you will literally just be there to rest up for the next enchanting Disney day!
Character experiences, top class entertainment and food and the best kids clubs at sea. After a sold out inaugural Australian season, Disney Wonder will be back next summer, so contact me for bookings.
Why travel a minimum of 9 hours to a Disney Park when you can experience the magic in our own backyard.

I have just returned from a whirlwind 2 week trip around Tasmania. This beautiful island never disappoints. Stunning scenery & incredible wildlife.
The perfect place to meander & find a surprise around every corner. Great produce from wines, cheese, chocolate, fudge, berries, apples, bread, olive oils & so much more. Incredible bakeries with lots of yuminess.
We enjoyed scenic cruises out of Strahan (Gordon river), Bruny Island & Freycinet (Wineglass Bay).
We travelled to/from Tassie on The Spirit of Tasmania ferry which enabled us to take our own car returning with a carload of goodies.😀
If you’re looking for an easy & affordable adventure then you can’t go past Tasmania.
Contact me for bookings.

So exciting 🥳

We are thrilled to announce that we now have two reasons to celebrate at the upcoming 2023 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) on 18 November 🎉

Not only do we have five of our incredible PTMs as finalists in the 'Most Outstanding Mobile Home-based Travel Advisor' category, but TravelManagers Australia has also been named a finalist in the 'Most Outstanding Mobile Advisor Network' category. Regardless of the outcome, this recognition is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our entire team in delivering exceptional services and travel support to our clients.

Congratulations to all the other deserving finalists who share in this nomination.

New Zealand Day 11: We left Blenheim to travel to Kaikoura on the east coast. This area is known for its whales. Some live here permanently whilst others pass through on the yearly migration.
Whilst here we did a site inspection of a stunning property called Hapuku Lodge + Tree House. Incredible views of the mountains & sea. Great attention to detail & very personal.
Kaikoura is a lovely area & worth spending a couple of nights to enjoy the sunshine, beach & scenery. It is 2.5hrs north of Christchurch.
We were very lucky to do a whale watching fixed wing flight. The first group out saw a Fin Whale from the air, unfortunately it didn’t show for my flight, but I did see a dolphin 🐬. The view of the mountains & coastline was spectacular.

What an incredible time I’ve had exploring the South Island, still more for me to see.
I love the relaxed lifestyle here & the people are so lovely & happy to have a chat.
I ask myself why it has taken me so long to come here!

New Zealand: Day 10.
Today we travelled from Nelson to Blenheim via Omaka & Picton.
In Omaka we visited the Aviation Heritage Centre & it’s Dangerous Skies Exhibition. A fabulous display of both genuine & replica aircraft from WW1/2. The WW1 display items have been provided by movie Director Peter Jackson.
Very well done & worth a visit. Next door is Omaka Classic Car Collection. This is closed during winter so unfortunately so was unable to visit this.
Next we headed out from Picton into Queen Charlotte Sound for a Seafood Odyssea Cruise.
(Picton is where the inter-island ferry starts/finishes from).
A really enjoyable cruise around this stunning area & were fortunate to have some dolphins play around the boat showing off their breaching skills.
We also enjoyed visits from ducks & large cod who wanted to share in the lunch experience. Lunch onboard showcased local mussels, salmon & a glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - does it get any better 🙌🏻.
Being we were in the famous Marlborough region it was only right to try some of the local wines & include a visit to Makena Confections for some yummy chocolates. The best options were with Macademias 😋.

South Island New Zealand: Day 9.
Today we travelled into Abel Tasman N.P, the smallest N.P in NZ, only reachable by boat or foot from Kaiteriteri.
We travelled by boat to Torrant Bay where Wilsons New Zealand have their own lodge. The lodge is used for guests doing 3 or 5 days walks from one end of the park to the other. Walks can be combined with kayaking and all equipment is supplied as well as a guide. Accommodation with all meals is also included together with transfer of luggage between lodges. It is an easy walk, kids can do this.
We experienced a kayak around the nearby estuary before heading further into the park for a walk between beaches before being picked up by speedboat & transferred back to Kaiteretere & onto Nelson.
Dinner tonight was at Eight Plates in Nelson city.Another incredible meal.

New Zealand: Day 8.
Today I travelled by plane to Nelson to start our ‘Top of the South’ touring.
First stop was Gravity Winery & what a beautiful way to start our time in the region.
We then stopped into the small village of Upper Moutere which was first settled by the Germans in the 1800’s. Lunch was enjoyed at Forsters with tasting board & wine tasting float. By this we were feeling extremely full! Just as well we did a 20km e-bike ride around the beautiful Nelson area on part of the Great Taste Trail to burn off the food. So much fun & highly recommend. Ask me for more information about the multi-day ride packages.
Our home for the next two nights is Rutherford Hotel.
Dinner was at Boat Shed Cafe in Nelson on the waterfront. An amazing & enjoyable ‘Chefs Choice’ menu. This is a popular option in restaurants in the north, where the chefs use local & in season produce.

What a wonderful few days spent in Christchurch at TravelManagers 2023 Conference. My tenth conference with TravelManagers & I think my favourite to date, with such a friendly, fun & late back feel.
The location of the conference was at the brand new Te Pae Convention Centre. A beautiful, brand new state of the art facility in the city centre.
During the 3 days we networked with Suppliers, & colleagues, attended workshops and a trade show receiving updates directly from airlines & suppliers. We had some time to experience a very small taste of what Christchurch has to offer. I enjoyed e-biking along the Avon River before enjoying a relax in the He Puna TaiMoana Hot Pools, located just outside of the city.
Current Australian of the Year Tarryn Brumfit was our keynote speaker who spoke about her work she continues to do toward the global issue of body shaming.
Please, if you haven’t watched ‘Embrace’ (currently on Netflix) please do, & for something to watch with the kids ‘Embrace kids’.
Our Gala/Awards Night ends the conference acknowledging a number of consultants & Partnership Office staff for their achievements over the year.
In 2022 I celebrated 15 yrs in partnership with TravelManagers.

NZ Day 5: today I travelled by Inter-city bus between Queenstown & Christchurch.
The journey time is 8 hours, so certainly longer than the flying option, but I got to sit back & enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. Plenty of stops along the way including a 40 min lunch stop at Lake Tekapo - what a stunning location!
Friendly drivers who shared their knowledge about certain areas along the way.
The 14th annual TravelManagers Conference started with a special invite only evening to celebrate 15yrs in partnership with TravelManagers. A Masterchef inspired competition. I wasn’t on the winning team, but we all got to enjoy the yumminess afterwards, followed by a chef prepared meal.
