Another day another stunning silo art.
Portland is a pretty little town and the old cement works silos are the perfect back drop for these six portraits of former employees of the plant.
You can’t see the sixth as on the other side of the silos.
You heard it right, we have a podcast, here is a quick soundbite from Episode 1.
Find us on Spotify or Apple podcasts.
Killen Falls on the NSW Northern Rivers is so lovely, to walk down to the bottom is an adventure, in this weeks video that is what Phil did that and we share the view from the bottom.
Due to all that this week has entailed I have not got this weeks video finished, but I will get it up next week and I may get an extra video up 😀 for New Year’s Day.
From mine to yours merry Christmas.
Thanks for all the love and encouragement this year and I look forward to finding more ways to serve in 2022.
Love doing life with this mob even if they drive me a little crazy, would not have it any other way, my Christmas heart is full.

Love to hear your go to’s.
Reconnect with your spouse the wrap up continues.
How are you going getting to know your spouse?
There are simple steps can take, but if you feel these aren’t enough, I would encourage you to seek counselling and find away to reconnect with your spouse.
Our marriages are worth giving our best too.
The reconnect with your spouse wrap up
In this video, we recap what we have talked about and I encourage you again to bring it all together and Choose to Prioritise your relationship with your spouse, to include them in decisions you make and work together to create the future you desire.
Today's adventure included this as well as other beautiful views.
To all those amazing men out there loving, serving and blessing their families, we say a very happy fathers day to you.
You enrich the world of those around you.
How often do you and your spouse set aside time for a date, where it is all about being together and enjoy each others company?
I don't know if it was the same for you, but as young parents we were encouraged to take time out of busy schedules to hang out, to do something we enjoyed and have some us time.
As the kids get older we might not be as deliberate about making time to do something that we enjoy together, if all the kids have left home it is easy to think, oh we hang out all the time, but not actually hang out doing things you enjoy.
This week I want to encourage you to date your spouse, make an intentional date and get back in touch with how you dated long ago :)
Have a blessed week,
Kerryn
Reconnect with your spouse part 5- the future and choices
This week we look to our future, dreams, plans, and how we see our relationship going forward.
As we get older, we all have a picture of what we want our relationship to be or how we feel it could be. For some, it is all sunshine and roses, and others might not see much hope of happiness or enjoyment as you struggle through.
Today I want to challenge us to look at our future with our spouses, how we see it right now. Often when things aren't going the way we want or think they should, we may focus on what our spouse is doing or not doing, but if you had been together for any length of time, you know nagging and finger-pointing does not usually bring about the change you think you desire.
In the bible in Matthew 7:3-5, Jesus talks about how we should remove the plank from our own eye before we help remove the speck from another's eye. As a husband or a wife, what is about us we need to deal with? what behaviour or choices can we make today to help how we see our relationship?
Often as we deal with our stuff and we make decisions to look for positives in our spouses, we find the atmosphere changes, and our attitude may change as well.
How is your future looking? Are you and your spouse on the same page, dreaming in the same direction?
This week I want to encourage you to talk about your hopes and dreams for the future, discuss ways to move forward in unison, working together to combine your future dreams.
As I said in the video, if all of this seems too big a task, I would encourage you to seek counselling and work through the issues. You may need counselling to deal with your stuff, but couples counselling would allow you to work through what needs to work together.
Praying we are all moving to more sunshine and roses as we look to the future.
Blessings,
Reconnect with your spouse - Part 4 Good Memories
Over the years as husband and wife, there have been times that are very good memories.
This week I want to focus on those, to spend some time reflecting on the good times you shared and the feelings they bring back about your spouse.
Why not take some time this week to sit with your spouse and take a stroll down memory lane? As you start sharing those good experiences, you never know that you may start dreaming about future opportunities to create more memories.
Sometimes these memories may include a misadventure and the way you got through it together, the way you supported each other.
Have a blessed week,
Kerryn
Reconnect with Your Spouse Part 3 - Food
If I were to ask you your spouse's favourite food, would you know the answer off the top of your head?
Often when we have done life together for a long time, we take for granted that we know all the basics about each other.
Building on last weeks conversation about getting to know what you are interested in now, why not take some time this week to check how each other is feeling about food? Have you both discovered some new favourites?
Once you have touched base with your favourites, why not schedule in a time where you enjoy each other's favourite meal...oh and don't forget to include all the good things that you eat like dessert, cakes and snacks.
I would love to hear what Food you guys will be enjoying together in the coming weeks. Let us know in the comments.
Have an awesome week, and bless you heaps.
