Hi everyone after months of being fully booked out this weekend Mother’s Day weekend is available if you weren’t sure what to get your mum for Mother’s Day and you wanted to have a great family getaway the church is available.
It sleeps 10 guests in our luxury accommodation and it’s just $1250 per night most people come in for Friday Saturday night and then have an after party at the pub and come and listen to the band on Sunday late checkout is fine even stay an extra night for free.

Beautiful Sammy and the very lucky Scotty had a great wedding down at the church yesterday.
Then came back to the pub had an amazing band in the backyard some great festoon lights and just soaked up the amazing atmosphere of the pub some great drinks with great friends and some yummy home-made food looking forward to seeing them back today for the recovery party in the backyard with the band playing the peacocks hanging out and everyone having a great time.

Our Story

St Joseph’s Guest House is situated in St Albans, NSW - a gorgeous riverfront part of the world.

A short two hour drive from Sydney or a two and a half drive down the freeway from Newcastle, we know you are going to love staying in our beautiful guesthouse.

St Joseph’s Guest House is the passion of Steve Kavanagh, your host, who saw the potential of the ruined remains of a Catholic Church built in the 1800’s. The building has been painstakingly restored and turned into a stunning guest house. The building comprises four king bedrooms complete with air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. A fifth bedroom has a separate bathroom. The bedrooms, plus the kitchen, laundry and dining areas offer all you need for a comfortable stay away from home. There is an indoor entertainment area for movies, music and dancing and a large outdoor deck for afternoon drinks and barbecue. A quiet upstairs retreat has a unique featured glass floor section to keep an eye on the festivities below. A swimming pool is also provided to help you cool down on those hot days and a gorgeous fire to keep you warm during the chilly winter months. Breathe in the fresh air, lay back under blue open skies with beautiful river and valley views, There is a rich variety of fauna and flora with peace and tranquility in abundance. You will see eagles, a variety of large and small water birds, lyre birds, wallabies, wombats, possums and goannas.

Just six minutes down the road is the Settlers Arms Inn - the oldest pub in Australia - which makes for the perfect lunch location. Settle in for the afternoon in an expansive shaded beer garden and watch the peacocks (not kidding) wander around. It’s a fantastic spot to spend time with friends or the family.

Looking to host a celebration at St Joseph’s Guesthouse? We’re fully approved to host up to 80 people for a lunchtime wedding (until 7pm), after which we can help transport your guests to the Settlers Arms Inn where you’ll have our own private area to continue the fun times until midnight. Eligibility

· This giveaway is being held by St Joseph’s Guesthouse

· This giveaway is open to all people living in Australia who have entered the competition via Instagram or Facebook.

· The minimum age for participants is 18 years of age.

· The competition does not include travel costs for those living outside of NSW.

Entry

· This giveaway starts on Friday the 18th of November, 2019 at 12.01am and closes on Friday the 6th of December, 2019 at 11.59pm.

· To enter, Eligible Entrants must enter the competition via Instagram or Facebook by liking, commenting and following at the request of the competition post, during the Promotion Period.

Prize and winning

· The prize draw will take place on Monday the 9th of December.

· The winner will be selected based on the best entry, judged by St Joseph’s Guesthouse.

Decisions will be final

· Winners will be contacted by email within 2 days of the draw.

· St Joseph’s Guesthouse employees and immediate family are not eligible to win.

The prize/prizes/reward are/is

· The prize is a two-night stay at St Joseph’s Guesthouse, along with a $100 voucher for The Settlers Arms Inn in St Albans.

· It is not possible to exchange any prize/reward for its monetary worth.

· Participants are not allowed to exchange prizes/reward offered and won, by St Joseph’s Guesthouse or appropriate affiliates, for other goods or money.

Prize conditions

· Winners will be notified by email within two (2) business days of the draw.

· If there are any unclaimed or un-awarded prizes in the event that the prize-winner is uncontactable or unable to redeem the prize, a prize runner-up will be chosen and contacted on 14th December.

Prize Fulfilment

· Details of how to redeem the two-night stay at St Joseph’s Guesthouse will be dispatched to the winner by 2 business days after the competition winner has been announced.

· The dates that the stay may be redeemed is subject to St Joseph’s Guesthouse availability and the availability of the Retreat partners involved in the prize fulfilment. The Shed Gerroa reserves the right to limit the prize redemption period to dates outside of school holidays and public holidays and peak periods. The prize may be redeemed on weekdays and/or weekend stays.

· The stay is limited to a maximum of 10 guests at St Joseph’s Guesthouse
