Due to the very large number of sharpening jobs we have received we are asking customers to delay sending more sharpening for the next week from 29 August to 5 September 2022.
Bob needs to work through the jobs he has on hand and we will let you know when to resume sending if the dates change.
At this stage we do not want to close our books to new customers so we are trialing asking you all to hold off on sending to see how that goes for us.
We don't want to compromise on the quality of our work and want to maintain a good work flow/turnaround time for you all.

Quick Reminder that Shop Orders will not be processed and Sharpening will not be occurring again until Tuesday 7 June as we will be away attending QLD Pup Cup this weekend. We will be travelling tomorrow and Monday.

Hello Everyone
We are prepping for more flooding here in Lawrence and as the creek across the road has broken its banks we are on alert. Have moved vehicles etc to higher ground.
Whilst everyone's sharpening and scissor orders/prizes, dental and ortho instruments are safe our mail sorting centre at Casino (near Lismore) has been closed and evacuated due to severe flooding again.
This means postal services we rely on are not operating, so we cannot receive or dispatch any mail at present.
I'm so sorry Everyone.
Please bear with us as we try to get through this again.
Hopefully it won't be as serious for us as it was a few weeks ago.
The rain has stopped but there is more to flow down out of the catchment areas yet and our river keeps rising.
For now we are safe and better prepared with food etc, than last time.

SHARPENING & SCISSOR ORDERS
Hi Everyone,
First we want to assure you that ALL sharpening jobs and scissor orders are being attended to as promptly as we can manage at the moment.
We value your business and your equipment and are continuing to work to get orders and sharpening out.
However, we may have a problem with our postal service due to the current weather situation here on the east coast.
We are currently cut off from Grafton by floodwaters and this situation is expected to shift from Moderate to Major Flooding by tomorrow, Monday 28 Feb.
If this is the case, we may not be able to dispatch anything until floodwaters recede.
Our home and family are safe and for those affected by this situation, we hope the same for you too.
We are receiving hourly alerts and our home has never been underwater in its 140 year history thankfully, but we may be isolated for some time if this flood becomes major in our area.
Our 2 acres of land will probably go underwater and we are prepared for that.
Please bear with us while we continue to work for you all and naturally we will let everyone know when things improve.
Our apologies and best wishes for everyone to stay safe.
