Experience Africa with us

East Africa is the premier Safari destination on the planet. It is Home to the Greatest land Migration on earth. Upto 2 million migrating Wildebeest, Zebra, gazelle and Topi, move through Tanzania’s Serengeti ecosystem and cross the trecherous Mara River into Kenya’s Mighty Masai Mara in search of green pasture. The concentration of Wildlife in Kenya throughout July, August and September is simply mindblowing. The Herds then return back over the border in Tanzania for the rest of the year from October to June. Wee have many tours that cover the Migration as well as kenya’s premier parks such as Amboseli which overlooks Mt Kilimanjaro, Samburu in the north and the Spectacular Lake Nakuru.

Tanzania’s Serengeti is also home to the calving season which takes place throughout Jan/Feb. The great herds give mass birth in order to overwhelm the few predators in the area. A mass birth can reach numbers of over half a million calves born over a short period. There is also the beauty of Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 610 metres (2,000 feet) deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometres (100 square miles. Estimates of the height of the original volcano range from 4,500 to 5,800 metres (14,800 to 19,000 feet) high. The crater floor is 1,800 metres (5,900 feet) above sea level. The crater was voted by Seven Natural Wonders as one of the Seven wonders of Africa in Arusha, Tanzania in February 2013. The Ngorongoro volcano was active from about 2.45 to 2 million years ago. The Wildlife in the crater is simply amazing. Home to all the big predators as well as Africa’s iconic big 5. We have many tours covering the beauty of Tanzania and its incredible wildlife.

Real Masai Safari also conducts Gorilla trek tours in Rwanda and Uganda. Many of our clients have mentioned this is the highlight of their entire trip when visiting Africa. We have many tours covering both countries as well as combined Wildlife and Gorilla packges.
