*We are seeking a qualified tradesman or experienced 4th year apprentice to be based in Longreach QLD.
*Work includes but not limited to new builds, renovations, light commercial and maintenance.
*A current driver's licence is essential.
*A Gas Work Licence is preferred.
*Work vehicle will be supplied.
*Well above award wages are offered.

Well 2023 has been by far our busiest year when it comes to new projects. Both residential and commercial housing as well as trying to fit in our renovations and some maintenance. All while adding little Hudson to the crew as well our new apprentice Ryan. Sadly we say farewell to our two Blackall imports in Jake and Seaton, thank you for all your work over the years and good luck in the future. Finally thank you to all our customers and Builders for your support in 2023 and look forward to working with you in 2024.

It has been a big year for Gavin Groves Plumbing. We understand it may have been hard to book in a job with us for these past few months and there is a good reason behind this. In partnership with Ausco Moduler we have been delivering a major project in Windorah. From install of a 30 man camp for the project, to underground Stormwater, Sewer, Raw Water and Potable Water. To all suspended pipework, install of Hotwater services and heat pumps, on site waste water treatment plant and irrigation field, right through to a fully automatic irrigation system. It's been a major project that does not come around often for us and have enjoyed being part of it.

It has been a busy month in March completing stage one of the old Longreach Motel fit out for Kent Construction for client Outback Pioneers. Not the kind of work we complete every day with custom made shower cages, custom made shower roses and almost 1/2km of exposed copper run through the 14 rooms. A tight timeline as well. The boys did a great job and the end result was fantastic and on time for an Easter Opening.

Been back for the new year a few weeks, but wanted to show sometimes the plumber actually gets time to work on his own house. A little ensuite we recently completed over the Christmas break. Thanks to Kent Constructions, Dozer for the tiling, Dan Pilon for the painting. Probably need to thank the wife for the designing and project management!! Happy to help with all bathroom renovations and restorations.
