We love this image of the NO3 Pump station in Cunderdin 💖
No3 Pump Station in Cunderdin was built in 1902 to house the original steam engines and boilers used to pump water from Mundaring Weir to Kalgoorlie. In March 1956 a new electric Pump Station opened, the older No.3 was abandoned for eight years before housing a cement factory. Following the closure of the cement factory Cunderdin Museum was developed and opened on 11 March 1973. Today the museum collection includes the Worthington Engine that powered the No.7 Pump Station, vintage farm machinery, railway dining car and Meckering earthquake simulation display. Cunderdin Museum is open daily from 10am-4pm.
