For the Animals For You and For Earth. Drastic changes need to be made in the way we live our lives and going VEGAN is a step in the right direction. Everyone who goes vegan always says "Why didn't I do this sooner!"

All 15 Elephants live happily retired though I feel they still have to earn their keep by entertaining us. At least they aren’t chained. We made them tamarind, banana, sugar cane, rice balls and cut up watermelon 🍉 to hand feed them. Many of them are blind and still sway side to side a sign of their days of boredom being chained in one spot for hours and sometimes days.
They’re very friendly and polite and they roam freely around the sanctuary with their carers.

Who wants to see The Naughty Vegan in supermarkets like Woolworths and Coles?? The naughty vegan chocolates are a million times better than the s**t they sell in their confectionery isles.
Let’s get emailing … ask your local supermarket to stock the naughty vegan 🌱 👿

Is it a dog? Is it a cow?
You don't have to be vegan to see the inconsistency. We oppose cruelty for humans and pets, but turn a blind eye for farm animals.
Every animal is a living, feeling creature at the end of the day.

Food for thought!

The formation of ‘ice flowers’ is a beautiful natural phenomenon in the Great Lakes region of North America!!
When the temperature drops under freezing temperatures, the non-frozen water under the ice layer is pushed upward, creating small cracks. Then, as very little water flows through these cracks and almost immediately freezes, very thin ice layers of irregular shapes are formed. As they accumulate, they create fantastic geometric shapes. Mother Nature’s art is amazing! ❄️🩵❄️

DID YOU KNOW farmers in the dairy industry remove the sensitive horn tissue or the horns themselves from the skulls of calves and cows using searing-hot irons, caustic chemicals, blades, or hand saws; without anesthetic or pain relief which results in acute pain.

This procedure is extremely traumatic to young calves, who are often just a few weeks old when their horn buds are burned or cut out of their heads. Older cows fare even worse. Dehorning in mature cattle usually requires amputation of the horn, which has already attached itself to the skull.

Ditch the cruelty.

Eat, Drink, Shop, Laugh and discover being vegan is easy.

Step into the heart of Melbourne and Regional Victoria‘s Vegan scenes via one of my guided chauffeured driven mini bus tours and be amazed by the global vegan diversity our city and region has to offer! Melbournes vegan scene has expanded due to more people making compassionate choices after watching videos like www.earthlings.com Melbourne has a huge community of animal activists who volunteer many hours to film and expose animal cruelty in farms and hoarding houses and laboratories right across Victoria, without these invaluable sources of information many people would still be in the dark about what really happens to animals. Making the connection that animals are friends and not food or clothing or entertainment is the ultimate reason behind many people going vegan.

My Vegan For A Day Tour takes you to over 7 different suburbs over Melbourne stopping to Eat, Drink, Shop, Learn and Laugh. Small group tours help keep the conversation lively and interesting and new friendships are formed. For every tour I invite a Vegan mentor to help inspire you with their story. My outta town tours take you to places like Mornington and make many suburb stops along the way showing you just how huge and amazing the vegan scene really is. All tours are great value and include Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, a free gift bag and me - Ginger I have been a vegan for almost 10 years, I have a big kind heart, and a wealth of stories and information. Friends would describe me as a great organiser, a lover of all animals, a great chef, a little eccentric but in a fun way! Colorful and imaginative and generous. You will be in good hands for the entire tour.

These tours are especially designed to help people understand there’s no mystery to being vegan, we are lucky to live in a country that has over 10,000 plants to create interesting food and drinks, clothing, medicines and cosmetics and so much more. Vegans create some of the best wines in Australia and cheeses. We now have a long list of cruelty free products available from shoes made from pineapple husks to meringue made from chickpea brine. Melbourne is fast becoming the Vegan capital of the World.

For people making the transition to veganism everything has just got so much easier with fake foods dominating the market at present. Being vegan we don't miss out on anything, in fact our alternatives to animal violence are of course so much better.
