We attended an introduction to bird watching in the Murray River National Park at Katarapko (near Berri) today. It was a very interesting morning where we got to spot 16 varieties of birds, a canoe tree and a fungus (looked like an upside mushroom) growing from a gum tree - something I have never seen before!
It was great to learn some of the many different variety of birds in our region and how to identify them. Valuable information we can use for our future "Renmark River Cruises" chartered boat tours.
