Almost 45,000 MMP cases for canine cruciate repair highlighted a missing piece in the puzzle. We’ve now created that missing piece.
Introducing the new medium size MMP OrthoFoam wedge.
Certain dog breeds which can be more challenging to treat using MMP, for instance Staffies, with relatively short tibial tuberosities and Border Collies, with sharply narrowing tibial diaphysis. Both breeds are at the crossover between the Standard MMP wedge (40mm long) and the Small Breed wedge (20mm long).
If you're comfortable doing standard breed MMP, you can now confidently apply the procedure to smaller dogs with the 30mm long wedge.

We were delighted to meet Brian and Kane from the St Damien's Catholic Primary School Story Dog Program today! Our children (including daughter Isla, pictured) have attended the school since 2006 and our family are pleased to support this valuable community initiative with a business sponsorship.

Congratulations to our friend and fellow vet Gus Currie for completing the Cape to Cape mountain bike race recently! Gus tackled all weathers and conditions in the four-day event which took in roughly 210km of trails between Cape Leeuwin and Cape Naturaliste in Australia's beautiful South West. He placed a hugely impressive 210th in a pack of about 1500 riders. Thanks for sporting the Orthomed jersey for us Gus!

Our Fourlimb mascot Winnie the whippet joined with her fur family in Perth's Million Paws Walk today. Thousands turned out to walk up to 5km along the southern banks of the beautiful Swan River. Walks were held across the country and, in WA alone, over $45 000 has been raised for the RSPCA.

Congratulations to our Team riders who placed in the top third of 1800 riders in the Cape to Cape MTB race! The four day race covered 220km of trails through the beautiful Margaret River wine region. The event is all inclusive attracting Australia's elite mountain bikers as well as encouraging family and friends to support and spectate. We're already looking forward to 2018!
