I'm sure you've heard the saying...

"Do something you love and you will never work a day in your life!"

Well I love travel! And short of winning that elusive powerball and jet-setting for the rest of my life, working in travel is the best thing I can do to immerse myself in my two passions – people and travel. During my first semester break I went to Japan to visit my sister and after a stellar

night of Karaoke with her boss I was offered a job teaching English to young children. Even at the tender age of 18 it was a no-brainer for me, I got to experience a unique and beautiful part of the world AND they were going to pay me for it! I spent a year in Hiroshima completely loving this exciting, fast paced city with it’s beautiful people and stunning countryside. The different food, culture and lifestyle had me hooked and the Wanderlust took over! I never returned to university, instead I made the world my school and ‘studied’ for the next 5 and half years. I trained through Europe, waitressed in Greece, worked in the UK, fought my way through Egypt and the Middle East, completing my Scuba course in the Red Sea. I spent several weeks covering Thailand from top to bottom, checked out Fiji then bought an old Chevy motorhome in LA. I had the best year of my life cruising the states, snowboarding in Whistler, pitching my hammock along the coast in Mexico, risking my life on the buses in Guatemala, cruising the Carribean and picnicing in Central Park. All that ‘hard work’ paid off when I finally returned home and have since worked with two of Australia's largest travel companies , sharing my knowledge of the world. More recently after the arrival of three gorgeous children I have been to Bali! A lot!! Travelling with kids is very different to that free spirited travelling I was used to but I still love getting away. When my youngest was 5 we took them all to Cambodia and Vietnam for 7 weeks. I was so eager to show them ‘the other side’ and they loved it!! The most exciting thing for me about working with TravelManagers is that I can run my business as a boutique agency dealing with fewer clients which enables me to provide quality, personalised service. I can visit clients to sit down and work out what it is they really want from their trip and form solid relationships with my clients built on trust and the awareness of their needs. If you're thinking of travelling and would like some honest advice or a helping hand please give me a call!

A destination wedding is always fun and this one was no exception. My beautiful neice said ‘I DO’ on the banks of Lake Kununurra and then we were treated to a sunset cruise before the party began. It was an amazing day 🥰. This was my first time to Kununurra and the East Kimberley region and it didn’t disappoint. There was so much to see and do. We hiked into Emma gorge, took a scenic flight over Purnalulu National Park/The Bungle Bungles (which interestingly only came to the attention of the wider world in the mid 80s) saw the enormity of Lake Argyle from the sky and swam in its pristine waters at sunset (just after we spotted the rather large Freshy at the shore 😳). The accommodations we stayed at were top notch and I would thoroughly recommend a few days here to escape the Perth winter! Just Magic 👌🏼

🌍🐘 I have just returned from an unforgettable trip to Hwange and Chobe National Parks! We had the privilege of seeing an incredible array of wildlife, though the elusive cheetahs and leopards always seemed to be just a day behind us. 🐾

A highlight of our journey was witnessing the inspiring conservation work by Mark 'Butch' Butcher and Imvelo Safari Lodges. His dedication to supporting local communities and protecting wildlife, especially the White Rhinos and Elephants, is truly remarkable. We had unique experiences viewing elephants up close from 'the hides' – an experience that brought us face to face with these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. 🐘❤️

We also learned about the 'Cobras', local villagers trained to military standards specifically to protect their two white rhinos from poachers. Their efforts are a beacon of hope for securing the future of the white rhino population. 🌿🦏

If you want to experience Africa and you value conservation and community these guys are truly amazing 🙌

Our adventure continued at the beautiful Chobe Bakwena Villas in Botswana and Chobe Water Villas in Namibia. These stunning locations provided a unique safari experience from the water, offering breathtaking views and wildlife sightings from the comfort of a boat. The Hippos were just gorgeous! 🚤🌅

A massive thank you to Prestige Safaris for organizing such an amazing and invaluable experience for us. This trip has been both inspiring and unforgettable! 🙏

If you are considering this bucket list experience please give me a call!

Hakuba Japan - we saw so many amazing properties in this beautiful ski destination. Late snowfall created some stunning scenery and fantastic ski conditions. There are so many different areas and levels of accommodation it was fantastic to see it first hand to ensure the right fit for my clients.
