In exactly seven weeks from today, Sunday 25th February more than a thousand people will gather at the Maydale Reserve from noon, to enjoy an afternoon of wine🍷 gin🍹 whiskey🥃 and beer 🍺tasting along with a variety of food from trucks 🛻 across the state.

A fabulous opportunity to settle in for the day, take in the sounds of live bands 🎶 HeadRusH, Trapezoid and Col Williams on the lawn, while browsing and selecting produce from local growers 🍃 and makers 🧺.

PLUS PLUS PLUS we have two masterclasses proudly brought to you by Mrs Baker's Still House and The Post and Rail. Book via our website to join in a gin blending masterclass or learn how to preserve fruit and veg.

The annual RM Concert is on tomorrow night! Get your tickets now!

These two lit up the stage in the Horsham College’s production of Cinderella earlier this year.
Harriet Overman and Sienna Walsgott played the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella respectively and their voices were something to behold.
Come and watch them recreate their wonderful duet this Saturday night, the 18th of November at 7.30pm at the Richard Morris Memorial Concert.

Today’s next school holiday craft competition is here. Bring the finished exhibits down to the Show Office before 15th September and we’ll process them. Weekly office hours are Tues 10am-9pm, Weds & Thurs 10am-6pm.

Materials:
• Two jars with lids
• Paint & brush

Method:
Paint the jars and allow to dry

Pull on your jumper, beanie and boots and celebrate the Maydale Reserve’s first official winter event, ‘SMOKE on the water’ on the King's Birthday long weekend in June from 12pm til late.

With the Wimmera River as the backdrop (water), this family friendly event will offer fabulous food trucks, smoked meat demonstrations (smoke), wine tastings, pop up bars, a non-alcoholic drinks bar, coffee van and live music, all undercover in the Maydale Pavilion, providing a sensational Sunday afternoon vibe.

Families can enjoy the great outdoors around the fire drums (smoke) or the bonfire (smoke) and eat toasted marshmallows or participate in a game of giant jenga!

Kids love facepainting, drawing and exploring. As a safe space, they can explore our community garden and the historic buildings around the grounds while gathering treasures to fill a 'hunt & gather box'. They'll also have fun drawing on Horsham’s biggest chalkboard found in Maydale Pavilion! (Some activities will be 'pay as you go'.) Tickets are online now at www.trybooking.com/chwuf
