A great start to our Cape to Cape walk in WA yesterday with an easy morning walk at Augusta followed by a visit to a couple of wineries on our way to Margaret River where we start our walk today with 22klms of the south west corner of the WA coastline.

Since my last post here, I flew home from Weipa for 10 days to photograph a wedding, celebrate my brothers 60th and welcome another grandchild into the world, however someone didn't want to arrive until the day I flew back to Weipa so am currently driving back with Rob, planning to have some cuddles very soon. However we have managed to squeeze in yet another 3 fabulous days at Tinaroo Dam on the Atherton Tablelands photographing some wildlife from our tinnie.

Well the last 24 hrs have been a turn around.... gone from lush green to rusty red and temps have gone up 10 deg. Stayed at Hann River road house last night with some of the locals. Weipa tonight.

After spending 2 very relaxing days camped up beside Millstream River on Woodleigh Station, we are now heading for Weipa with a stop at Hahn River tonight.

Great overnight stay with our friends Kath and Al in Agnes last night. Arrived Airlie at 5.45 and set up in the dark but are ready for our dinner date night at Fish D'vine, a favourite of ours. Tomorrow we push onto Tinaroo Dam for 2 nights.
