Vasco Da Gama cruise ship. Visiting Australia as part of a world cruise with Nicko cruises. Lots of beautiful spaces on the ship, bars and restaurants. A smaller ship, and handled the crossing of Bass Strait very well.

Virgin Voyages. Modern contemporary ship. Adults only. No buffets. Lots of restaurants, bars and spaces. Australian season now until 15 March 2024. Returning for a 2024-2025 season. I sailed in October 2022 in the Mediterranean. Museum Of The Future. Timed entry is required and fortunately I booked in advance. This is a truly amazing museum. An imagining of the future with simulated space portal , future of energy and transport, DNA library of 2,400 species of animals, birds, sealife, insects, plants, bacteria. A truly remarkable building.

Action packed day at the indoor theme park with rollercoasters, rides for all ages, magic shows, virtual reality, and 3-D shows,Marvel theme, Cartoon Network characters and Lost Valley dinosaurs. Open from 12 pm to 11 pm. Amazing.

Arrived Dubai and spent our first afternoon at the Dubai Mall and watched the fountain show. Weather is great , 25c today. Lots of people out and about.

Food on Scenic Spirit has been amazing. Breakfast and lunch has buffet and some ala carte. Dinner is ala carte with lots of options and the theme for lunch and dinner changes daily. I have been well looked after with my vegetarian request.
