Before boarding Diamond Princess cruise of Japan, stayed at Yokohama port. It is a vibrant city with a beautiful waterfront Yamash*ta Park, bustling Chinatown, shopping district Motomachi with eclectic shops, cafes, bars, lots of flowers and garden beds, cherry blossoms. Easy to walk around and clean. Enjoyed our first night in Japan.

Disney Magic At Sea cruise. Sailing in Australia until 10 February 2025. Lots of great spaces for family fun and also plenty for adults only pool, bars, dining and entertainment. I had a magical time enjoying the Disney characters, imaginative dining, spectacular shows, spa pampering and seeing the joy of all the little kid princesses and characters. Disney Wonder is a beautiful ship and the staff are wonderful

A must do in Turkiye is a visit to Cappadocia. Goreme is a quaint village with winding streets filled with restaurants, shops and cave dwellings. Hot air balloon over the fairy chimneys is one of the best experiences I have ever had

Istanbul. A bustling vibrant city. Visited the Old City, Sultanamet including Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome, Basilica Cisterna (underground), Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and ferry on the Bosphorus.

Azerbaijan. I travelled here to watch the Formula 1 Grand Prix. What an amazing place. A country ruled by many empires throughout history and now a thriving modern country with a great mix of old and new. Definitely worth a visit. The city Baku has a beautifully preserved old city with cobblestoned streets to explore. The city itself has a mixture of old and new with many modern buildings now.
