I recently had clients return from LA and Hawaii and this was their email about the flights and hotels and the over all experience of booking their Holiday with me.
Well, what a fabulous holiday! Thanks so much for putting together our trip to LA and Honolulu. It was sad to be in LA at such a difficult time for the city. But we were able to do the things we planned to do.
The flights worked well. No problems with the luggage or limits. The seats were good. There are pros and cons to the exit row seats, the pros being the legroom (a huge pro!!!!) and proximity to the toilet and the cons being the need to put all your bags up in the lockers and, again, the proximity to the toilet (the constant movement and light, and people milling around in front of your seat).
The hotels were fabulous. The Hilton Universal City was great. We had a view of Universal Studios, the room was spacious and well kept up. They had a well-stocked little shop if you needed anything. And, of course, Universal Studios front gate was just a quick walk across an overbridge.
The Fairfield in Anaheim was good also. The staff were excellent and the room was in a good location (nearly top floor, middle of the wing facing Disneyland).
Finally, the Alohilani was a great suggestion from you. It offered much better value than being right in the middle of the shopping area further down the beach. Its stretch of Waikiki was much less crowded and it was straight across the road, rather than having other hotels between it and the beach as is often the case at the other end of Waikiki. The room was lovely - we had a great ocean view.
So thank you again, for all the work you did for this holiday and the care you showed when we were leaving, to make sure everything was alright. It was so reassuring to know you were there to help if needed.
We’re very grateful for your work. All the hotels were perfect for our needs but the Alohilani, in particular, was a great suggestion from you - we probably wouldn’t have considered that location on our own but it was much better suited to the type of holiday we wanted, and we found the hotel to be very comfortable (with a great view!).
