For the last two years Beau + Arrow have been dedicated to sharing the untold stories of the Bhutanese. We strive to go behind the scenes, off the beaten track and find the hidden gems that this incredible country has to offer. The aim of Beau + Arrow is to introduce travellers to Bhutan, to inspire and inform and in turn create unforgettable tailored travel experiences, not just holidays. At Beau

+ Arrow we believe it is important to be part of the community we travel to. Part of the proceeds from Beau + Arrow goes towards sponsoring Singay, a twelve-year-old monk. Singay lost his mother in a car crash two years ago and shortly after broke his arm on his family farm. Unable to access medical treatment he now has a gunshock fracture that restricts the use of his arm. Unable to help his father on his farm, he was sent the monastery to study and be a monk in training. Our sponsorship provides Singay with clothes that his family can't afford, as well as additional food and games.

Five years ago today I first visited Bhutan. I was chatting to a monk I photographed at Buddha Dordenma, a gigantic Buddha statue in the mountains of Bhutan, but back then was still a construction site. We chatted about faith and life and I began to understand what makes the Bhutanese people so special.
