Around Sri Lanka in 7 Days on an Electric Bike 🛵😌🇱🇰 (1460 km in 7 Days)

First time in Sri Lanka, a tour around the island on an electric bike! 😍

For my Around Sri Lanka tour, I selected the newly launched TVS iQube bike. I'm planning to circle the island in 7 days. This is going to be an amazing experience because this bike is an electric one.

I'm starting and ending my journey at Galle Face. Today, we're heading from Colombo to Galle. This tour will have many challenges, especially since this is an electric bike with a range of 100 km per charge. So, I’m taking a bit of a risk with this journey. I'll be updating you with the details of the journey daily. 🇱🇰

7 reasons to visit Sri Lanka!😍 Save for later❤️

1. Amazing views. Sri Lanka has a lot of places to watch incredible sunsets & sunrises. For example Adam’s peak & the pidurangala rock are amazing to spend your morning watching the sunrise!🌅
2. Wildlife. In Sri Lanka you can find a lot of elephants, birds and even leopards!
3. Surfing. Because Sri Lanka is an island, the coast is sooo big, you’ll find a lot of great surf spots!
4. Lovely people. That’s just the way it is❤️
5. Endless tea plantations. Visit Haputale to drive between endless tea plantations😍
6. Underwater life. You’ll will for sure find a sea turtle when you visit Sri Lankan beaches. You can find them almost everywhere!
7. Lots of palmtrees🌴 The whole island is FULL of palmtrees and it just looks so amazing!!☺️

Have you ever thought what to do with Tamarinds

TAMARIND BALLS 🤎 so sour, so sweet, so good! For as long as I can remember, I’ve seen these sold in the stores but never tried making them from scratch. It’s so easy and although takes some time to remove the seeds, it’s totally worth it.

Ingredients

1 lb sour tamarind
1 cup sugar (for filling)
1/3 cup sugar (for dusting)

Directions

Remove shell and make sure tiny pieces don’t get left behind! Remove fiber from all fruit, then add sugar. Start massaging and removing seeds as they become easier to grab. Once all seeds are removed massage pulp and sugar until a dough forms. Separate into bite sized balls then coat with sugar. Enjoy immediately or keep in fridge!

Казуары — крупные нелетающие птицы. Взрослые особи шлемоносного казуара достигают 1,5-1,8 метра высоты (некоторые -до 2 м) и весят около 60 кг. Это самые крупные птицы обитающие в тропических лесах Новой Гвинеи и северо-востока Австралии и вторые по величине птицы в мире (после страуса). Все три вида имеют вырост на голове, который называется «шлемом»
💙В 2004 году казуар попал в Книгу рекордов Гиннесса как самая опасная птица на Земле. Если потревожить покой, это существо может нанести смертельный удар своими мощными ногами.
