Granit AS Travel made another great tour to Mud Volcanoes for the group of Russian tourists with 32 people. Starting our tour from the Four Seasons hotel, sat in Jeep and went through the coastal road to the Mud Volcano area.
With more than 350 out of 800 Mud Volcanoes in the world has located in Azerbaijan. Also among the largest mud volcanoes in the world – Kanizdagh and Toraghai are located in Azerbaijan.
Mud Volcanoes are associated with oilfields. Rich oil and gas fields are found in the territories of Mud Volcanoes.
