Our next destination was Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
It is home to one of the largest castles in the world!
Prague proudly carries the nickname ‘city of a hundred spires’, even though the skyline has thousands, typical of the city’s gothic architecture.
Stare Mesto (Old Town) is the heart and soul of the city, and we really enjoyed ourselves, taking in the beautiful scenery and snapping so many photos!

Our next destination was Amsterdam, one of the most popular tourist places in Europe!
If you haven’t yet been, it’s time you started planning your adventure there.
The city of Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands, and it is well-known for its past, the elaborate canal system and the architecture of their iconic, narrow houses.
We were extremely happy that we got the chance to visit. The abundance of canals and arched bridges that you can wander aimlessly through and dine upon, the rows of stunning apartments and townhouses that line the canals, the variety of markets and shopping districts make it absolutely magical.
Truly, Amsterdam is the city that just seems to have it ALL.

Brussels is the stunning capital city of Belgium we decided to visit next.
There are so many amazing things that you can see and experience in Brussels. It is a perfect way to get into the heart of Western European culture.
Even though Brussels is the administrative center of the European Union, it has many great tourist attractions. The city is hip, filled with history, and boasts tons of cutting-edge restaurants.
We extremely enjoyed our travel experience this often-overlooked European capital and hope we get to visit it soon!

Here we are, in Paris, named ‘the city of love’ by the greatest poets, writers, actors, and musicians of all times.
We were very excited to visit this city, and marvel in the beauty of the surrounding townhouses, smell the freshly baked croissants and see the flowers hanging from every corner of the city.
Paris is located in northern France on the banks of the Seine river, also being one of the most visited cities in the world. It’s no wonder, since Paris is filled to the brim with historic landmarks and cultural experiences that can’t be found anywhere else.
No trip to Paris is complete without visiting the Eiffel tower, so we headed that way. What we saw was completely magnificent, and looked just like in the movies: the huge, beautiful structure, towering above the city by day and lighting it up at night.
As usual, our cameras were working non-stop and these are some of the photos we captured!

After a fun time in Germany, we headed of to Switzerland, a country on many people’s bucket lists.
The city we decided to visit first was Lucerne, which turned out to be a destination like no other.
Lucerne is famous for its lake, the enchanting Chapel bridge and the amazingly preserved walls that once protected the city.
After that, we headed off to Interlaken, a city nested in the heart of Swiss Alps.
Did you know that Interlaken lies between Thun and Brienz Lakes? That’s how the city got its name!
The town is really pleasant for walking, especially in the residential area of the city, where you may spot houses built in the traditional chalet style.
Thun and Brienz Lakes serve as a wonderful introduction to the history, culture and the appeal of the Swiss nature.

We decided to head off to our next adventure, Munich, the capital of Bavaria!
Munich is a great city for travelers, located in southern Germany, and known most for Oktoberfest. However, there are many interesting things to see there besides that, even in February!
The center of the city looks like it came out of a medieval fairy tale, with gorgeous castles, parks, gardens, and hearty German food. In short, Munich has something for everyone.
Munich as we know today traces back all the way to 1158, making it a perfect historical hub for travelers who whish to experience history alongside modernity. And that’s definitely us!
We had a great time wandering around the streets of this phenomenal city and we surely hope we will get to visit again, because everyone had such a great time!
We took a bunch of photos, but most importantly made memories that will last for a lifetime!

After a wonderful time in Slovenia, we've reached Austria, and headed off to Salzburg.
Salzburg is a huge city of course, but did you know that Mozart was born here? No wonder the people nicknamed it as the „City of Sound“!
Besides its musical origin, Salzburg is a great place to visit and just wander around, absorbing the history that makes it timeless.
While we're speaking of Mozart, we surely didn't miss the chance to visit the famous Cafe Mozart!
It's the oldest cafe in the city but don't let that fool you. The sweets are amazing and we couldn't get enough!

After visiting Salzburg, it was only natural to head off to Hallstatt next!
It's no wonder we decided to stop by, because Hallstatt is one of the most photogenic cities in Austria, and it won't take you long to find out why! Just take a look at our next stories 😊
Did you know that Hallstatt has only 800 permanent residents, yet receives so many tourists, including us?
We fell in love with the incredible natural beauty around us, and wished we could stay just a little bit longer.

Our journey continues on the beautiful Lake Bled in the middle of Julian Alps in Slovenia.
Lake Bled is one of the most popular lakes in Slovenia, and for a reason.
Our travel friends had great fun and took a bunch of photos which turned out to be masterpieces.
It is the only natural island in Slovenia, under an acre in size, and houses a 17th century church.
We're so glad we visited!

One lake wasn't enough for us, so we decided to visit two!
Located in Slovenia, Lake Bohinj is the largest lake in the country and has glacial origin, which gives it that majestic look.
The lake offers many things to do, such as hiking, biking, swimming or kayaking, but today, we decided to skip it all and just take in all the beauty that Lake Bohinj has to offer.
It is extremely silent and peaceful around here, because no boats are allowed on the lake.
Makes it a perfect place to unwind and relax, don't you think?

And, off we go!

After a few hours of traveling, we've reached Slovenia, one of the most magical countries in Europe.
We decided to head off to Ljubljana, its capital city.

Did you know that Ljubljana is the smallest European captial? But, that fact doesn't take away from any of its beauty.
It looks like it came straight out of a fairy-tale!

It's a city full of culture, with amazing galleries, museums and lots of history.

While visiting the Novi trg, we heard something interesting! Did you know that its name, which translates to "New Square", can be a bit misleading? :D
Why, you ask? Because the square was built in the 13th century!

But one of the most amazing things that we got to see was the Ljubljana Castle, looking like it's floating above the square.
Isn't that magical?

We also explored a bit more of Ljubljana by talking walks by the beautiful Ljubljanica river, with its interesting bridges and cafes lined up on the riverside.

It was a trip all of us will surely remember for the rest of our lives.

We're back after a two-year break.
Yesterday we embarked on an amazing trip across Europe with the most wonderful people and the plan to visit as many beautiful and historic cities as possible, starting off with Sarajevo!
We are traveling with our dear friends from Malaysia! They're a bunch of amazing people, and we can't wait to begin this journey with them!
In the next 26 days, we will visit 9 countries and 16 cities!
