🚨 URGENT: Protect Our Clifftops! 🚨

As many of you know, the Animal Flower Cave and the surrounding clifftops in St. Lucy are some of the most breathtaking and peaceful places on our island—and now they’re under threat! 😔

A proposal has been made to erect a massive wind turbine on the very cliffs that give us those stunning views and peaceful retreats.

Imagine the noise, the towering structure. and the destruction of this unspoiled beauty. This area is not just a tourist attraction—it’s a sanctuary for both locals and visitors who come to connect with nature and escape the hustle of daily life. 🌊🌿

While renewable energy is important, we MUST find a way to balance progress with preservation. There are other locations that would be far less destructive to our environment and heritage.

📢 We need YOUR voice! 📢

Please help protect this natural wonder by emailing your concerns as a visitor.

Include Application Number: 0380/03/2024C in your email and let them know why the clifftops near the Animal Flower Cave must be preserved.

Here's some interesting info on Sergeant Majors:
- They got their name because of their military stripes that their pattern resembles.
- They grow up to a maximum of approximately 23cm in length.
- During the mating season, the males become dark blue/purple in colour when guarding the eggs!
