This weekend I'll be celebrating my country Barbados' 48 years of independence! So why not kick start the celebrations with a Bajan Green Monkey cocktail, made with Mount Gay Rum - the oldest rum brand in the world, which is made right here in Barbados... Get the Recipe below and have yourself a great weekend!

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz. Mount Gay Eclipse
1 oz of Mango Puree
½ fresh banana
Splash of Bols Melon Liqueur
Crushed Ice
Lime Wedge and/or Maraschino Cherry for garnish

Directions: Blend Mount Gay Eclipse, mango puree, ice and fresh banana in a blender. Add melon liqueur to a Hurricane glass and then pour contents of the blender into the glass gently to create two colours. Garnish and serve.
