A great holiday spot, moments from both Gibbs and Mullins Beaches on the Platinum West Coast of Barbados, with a sparking pool and oversize deck. Various accommodation choices available including The Cottage, Pool Studio, Palm Studio and The Cabin... THE COTTAGE: Pretty two bedroom Cottage (sleeps 3) in one double and one single bedroom, both with air conditioning. Wifi throughout. Facing east to catch the refreshing trade winds, which together with the high vaulted ceilings and fans throughout, provide a feeling of space keeping the property wonderfully cool. The open plan layout is ideal for a holiday. The finishes throughout include pickled pine, coral rendering and tile floors which give a real beach house feel and epitomizes inside outside living. It is well furnished with wooden furniture throughout. A breakfast bar opens into the simply equipped kitchen including a washing machine. The reception room and the kitchen both open through French windows onto a large veranda that runs its length, offering plenty of room for sitting and dining, overlooking the large sparkling ceramic tiled pool. We look forward to welcoming you... POOL STUDIO - A distinctive vibe and true to the spirit of Gibbs Glade Cottage & Garden Studios we promise no ‘cookie cutter' feel. Three sets of double french doors lead out onto the pool deck, patio and veranda so this is inside / outside living at its very best. A large, decently furnished and well equipped Studio with high ceilings and plenty of attention to detail. We get it - our guests want value for money, fresh cotton sheets and high standards of cleanliness, all as standard. Rest easy…..
PALM STUDIO - Consistently come through for Millennials and Boomers alike. Being set slightly apart from the three other units within Gibbs Glade Cottage & Garden Studios has made Palm a consistent hit with the honeymooners. Furnished with both a comfy king size bed and a single day bed, making the ideal combo for an afternoon siesta and also a good night's sleep. Come and enjoy our take on affordable accommodation. THE CABIN: Designed with the single traveler in mind. Having said... it also works a treat for cosy couples but please know that it is compact. If you are just looking for a clean space to haul up in after the beaches, pool, bars and restaurants then you have hit the jackpot. A powerful AC, a walk in shower, high vaulted ceilings and french doors leading onto an east facing veranda to capitalise on the cooling trade winds. With more than a nod to those who travel light or backpack, we have nailed it for the trendy but budget, niche holiday maker. Cheers to the sunset… Gibbs Glade Cottage & Garden Studios is set in its own beautiful garden with a shimmering pool, fully enclosed with a wall and fence to make it very secure. The landscaping has been planned to provide a tropical feel. We are a great choice for like minded people seeking a Barbados holiday at a sensible price but at the same time not wanting to compromise on good living conditions. Oodles of Caribbean style, easy living charm, simple, inexpensive and fun. Clean, comfortable, well furnished with plenty of attention to detail, all the ingredients of a wonderful stay from fresh cotton sheets, through to tasteful furnishings.
