The property is in a quiet residential neighbourhood. property is located on the western-side of the island. It is approximately 35-40 mins drive from the airport depending on traffic. There is a local bus/ ZR # 3 route at the bottom of the avenue about 1-2mins walk. About 20 minutes from Bridgetown the main shopping area. The nearest beach is approximately 10 minutes drive on the west coast (Brig

hton beach, Batts Rock, Paynes Bay, and more). Other beaches 15-20 minutes drive. Close to supermarkets (on the bus route to Bridgetown). A gas station is in walking distance (30-35mins walk) where snacks and basic necessities can be purchased. The following are also in walking distance from approximately 7 - 30 mins from property : Post office, the University of the West Indies, TnT BBQ, Royal Bank of Canada. A doctors office and pharmacy are also close by. These are all on the bus route. The bus is a very easy way of getting around. You can get (1) buse that take you to the south coast or straight into the city. (2) buses to take you west or inland. Bus fare is $2 BBD or $1 USD. It is easy to get around if you do not mind using the bus system. Barbados also offers car rental and taxi services. If interested in car rentals please advise early to allow to book with a local company. Information can be obtained for you to assist with your booking early. There is a fee of $10BBD to obtain a drivers permit. You must obtain a valid drivers license. Recommended things to do: Harrison Cave, A catamaran cruise, Visit Barbados Blue by the Hilton for snorkeling and Scuba Diving, Zipline, Island Safari Tour. Try one of the local affairs listed below. Other things to do: Flower Forest, Orchid World, Altantic Submarine, Island tour, Animal Flower Cave area. Food at night: Several restaurants on the island. If you want to hang with the locals try: Thusday nights Martins bay for Fish, Friday nights at Oistins for a nice local Fish Fry affair, Saturday during the day at Lemon Arbour for Pork, S***e Factory or Eastpoint to hang with the locals and take in a lovely country view.
