Management – the way it works! With the increase in volume of business & to cope with the multidimensional and dynamic business environment, bringing in a corporate structure in the Group was but essential. A Board of Directors of 8 members provides the most dynamic business decisions. Hefazatur Rahman took over the Chairmanship after the death of the founder – late Al-haj Mostafizur Rahman in 2004. Jahir Uddin, a western-educated Director of the Board, shapes up the activities of the Group as its Managing Director & CEO. Since emerging as a Group in 1983, it has adopted a corporate structure combining a workforce of professional managers with that of the values and ideals of the Group which was instrumental in developing the Group to a considerable extent. A total of 6000 employees form the backbone of the Group who work tirelessly to retain and carry forward the image set by its founder. To facilitate efficient functioning and coordinating its activities, units/subsidiaries were put under broader divisions. CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPOSIBILITY
