The United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced the suspension of all inbound flights from Pakistan, including transit ones. The suspension will be in place till the country establishes a process of laboratory testing for Covid-19 for all departing travelers en route to the UAE.

“This is a precautionary measure to ensure the health and safety of all arrivals as of Monday, June 29, 2020,” the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority said late on Sunday. The GCAA called on all travelers affected by the decision to communicate with their airline to reschedule their flights.

Four airlines from UAE offers passenger services from Pakistan inlcuding Emirates, Eithad, Flydubai and Air Arabia.

Dubai residents entry process
The following process applies to all Dubai residents who are either currently overseas and want to return or wish to initiate travel from Dubai and return.

If you hold a Dubai residence visa and would like to return to Dubai, you must have government approval to enter. You can apply for this approval while making your booking online or through our contact centres. Otherwise you can complete the application yourself on the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) website directly, before you book your flight with us.

During the GDRFA application process, you will be asked to enter your Resident File Number. You can find this number on your visa under File.

Check the GDRFA website to see the status of your application. If your application is approved, you will receive an email with a GDRFA reference number. If the application can’t be processed at the time of the request, you can try again after four days. There is no need to follow up on your status with our call centre or GDRFA.

You will be asked for your GDRFA Application Number to complete your travel booking, either online or through our call centre.

Please bring a copy of the GDRFA approval email with you when you travel, as you might be requested to present this.
Every passenger flying to Dubai is required to fill in this health declaration form and the quarantine undertaking form . Both forms need to be printed and completed before you travel and handed over to Dubai Health Authority staff at arrival. The quarantine undertaking form will only go into effect if you need to undergo quarantine.

On arrival in Dubai, you are required to take a PCR test and remain in your residence until you receive the test result. If the test result is positive, you will be required to undergo isolation and follow the Dubai Health Authority guidelines.
You must also download the COVID-19 – DXB Smart App. iOS - Android
At check-in, returning residents must declare that they either have health insurance or will bear any costs for treatment and isolation if required.

Dubai residents planning to travel out of Dubai
Passengers must be aware of and meet the travel requirements of the country they are travelling to.
Residents do not need a COVID-19 test or Dubai government approval to leave Dubai.

COVID-19 flight and travel restrictions remain in place across many countries around the world. We are closely monitoring the situation as it evolves, and we hope to resume services as soon as conditions allow. This includes receiving government approvals, the easing of travel restrictions, and commercial demand. We will announce any service resumption when we can. সাদা শার্ট-প্যান্ট, কোমরে লাল বেল্ট, মাথায় টুপি পরনে ওয়েটাররাও অনেক ব্যস্ত। এখানকার কফি ও কাটলেটে রয়েছে ভিন্নতা। নিয়ন আলোয় আলোকিত ‘ডুপ্লেক্স’ কফি হাউজ। চলছে তিন পাখার ফ্যান। উপর তলায় বসলে কফি হাউসের পুরো ভিউটা একসাথে দেখা যায়। সন্ধ্যায় আড্ডা বেশি জমে।

ঘাট বাঁধানো পুকুর, সারি সারি গাছ, সবুজ মাঠের মাঝে বড় অট্টালিকা। এ নিয়েই ভিক্টোরিয়া মেমোরিয়াল। মোঘল এবং ব্রিটিশ স্থাপত্যের অনন্য নিদর্শন ভিক্টোরিয়া মেমোরিয়াল। প্রসাদের মত বিশাল অট্টালিকায় রয়েছে ২৫টি গ্যালারি। যেখানে বিভিন্ন এন্টিক নিদর্শন এবং হস্ত নির্মিত শিল্পকর্ম প্রদর্শনের জন্য রাখা হয়েছে।

জোড়াসাঁকো ঠাকুরবাড়ি
কলকাতার জোড়াসাঁকোতে অবস্থিত ঠাকুর পরিবারের প্রাচীন বাড়ি ‘জোড়াসাঁকো ঠাকুরবাড়ি’। রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের দাদা এই বাড়ি নির্মাণ করেন। ঠাকুর পরিবারের স্মৃতি বিজড়িত বাড়িটি এখন রবীন্দ্র ভারতী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়। এই বাড়িতেই জন্মগ্রহণ করেছিলেন বিশ্বকবি রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর। বাড়ির একটি অংশে রয়েছে জাদুঘর। যেখানে ঠাকুর পরিবারের নানা ঐতিহ্য প্রদর্শনের জন্য রাখা রয়েছে।

বিশ্বের ষষ্ঠ দীর্ঘতম ক্যান্টিলিভার ব্রিজ ‘হাওড়া ব্রিজ’। ব্রিটিশ শাসনামলে হুগলি নদীর উপর এ ব্রিজটি নির্মাণ করা হয়। যা কলকাতা ও হাওড়া শহরের মধ্যে যোগাযোগ স্থাপন করে। ব্রিজের পাশের লঞ্চঘাট থেকে নৌকায় ঘুরতে পারেন হুগলি নদী। উপভোগ করতে পারেন হাওড়া ব্রিজের সৌন্দর্য।

একপলকে বিজ্ঞানের নানা দিক দেখে আসতে পারেন সাইন্স সিটি থেকে। এখানে রয়েছে প্রাগৈতিহাসিক যুগ থেকে বর্তমান যুগের নানা জীবজন্তুর মূর্তি। যা জীবন্ত প্রাণীর মতোই নড়াচড়া করে এবং শব্দ করে। এছাড়াও রয়েছে বিজ্ঞানের নানা দিক নিয়ে নির্মিত চলচ্চিত্র দেখার সুবিধা। ক্যাবল কার দিয়ে পুরো সাইন্স সিটি দেখা সুযোগ তো রয়েছেই।
