Travel guidelines from DAC to SHJ as on 26/09/2021 :
FLYING TO THE UAE:
Passengers allowed from India, Pakistan, Nepal , Sri Lanka & Bangladesh :
Following category of passengers are allowed to travel from India, Pakistan, Nepal , Sri Lanka & Bangladesh :
Fully vaccinated residents after 14 days of taking the second dose of any WHO approved covid-19 vaccine and hold the vaccination certificate issued by the health authorities including the certificate on the Al Hosn App.
All vaccinated passengers with E-visas arriving in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.
All vaccinated and non-vaccinated medical personnel working in the UAE including the doctors, nurses and technicians.
All vaccinated and non-vaccinated education sector staff, including teachers of universities, colleges, schools and institutes.
All vaccinated and non-vaccinated students currently studying in UAE.
Humanitarian cases who have valid visas (for families reunion).
All vaccinated and non-vaccinated governmental staff of Federal and local entities.
Vaccinated and non-vaccinated long-term visa holders (Golden visa)
Vaccinated and non-vaccinated diplomats
Pre-approval for residents:
Passengers who are travelling from the above mentioned countries and are currently quarantining in another country for 14 days and wish to travel before completing the quarantine period should meet below mentioned requirements by the UAE government:
All passengers must register on the below website prior to departure:
-> Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi and Northern Emirates residents
-> Dubai residents
Pre-approval for E-visa holders:
All passenger arriving in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah with a newly issued E-visa must register prior to their departure.
UAE residents residing in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain arriving from all other countries:
Passengers must visit uaeentry.ica.gov.ae before booking a flight to verify their entry status. Take a photocopy of your passport and UAE resident visa. No prior approval is required if resident of Sharjah or any other emirate.
PCR and Rapid Test:
Passengers including UAE nationals arriving from India, Pakistan, Nepal , Sri Lanka & Bangladesh are required to take covid-19 PCR test, conducted within 48 hours of the flight arrival time. Passengers are also required to conduct a rapid PCR test at the airport 6hrs prior to departure and will go through another PCR test at the arriving airport.
Test results for passengers arriving from Bangladesh, Egypt, Pakistan, Sudan, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Nepal and India should carry QR code on it.
Passengers arriving from other countries can conduct the test within 72 hours of the flight departure time. All passengers will be re-tested upon arrival.
UAE Nationals and children below 12 years are exempt from the test.
You will be required to present physical copy of the report at the check-in counter.
Mobile Application:
Passengers are required to download the ALHOSN application.
FLYING FROM BANGLADESH:
Effective 12 May 2021, all flights from Bangladesh are temporarily suspended due to directives and restrictions imposed by the authorities. The only exemptions are UAE citizens, Diplomatic Missions, Official Delegations, Golden Visa holders and Businessmen's jets. For these exemptions, a Negative PCR test containing a QR is mandatory conducted within 48 hrs prior to flight departure. Passengers can stay in other countries for at least 14 days before being allowed to enter the UAE.
