নতুন প্রযুক্তির এই পাসপোর্ট কিভাবে পাওয়া যাবে?

ই-পাসপোর্টের আবেদনঃ

অনলাইনে আবেদন ফরম পূরণ করে সাবমিট করতে হবে নতুন পাসপোর্টের জন্য। সেক্ষেত্রে আগেই ব্যাংকের অনলাইন মাধ্যমে টাকা জমা দিয়ে ব্যাংক থেকে সরবরাহ করা রেফারেল নম্বর কোডটি ব্যবহার করতে হবে অনলাইন আবেদন ফরমে। আবার কেউ চাইলে ডেবিট ও ক্রেডিট কার্ড দিয়েও পাসপোর্ট ফি জমা দিতে পারবেন। প্রয়োজনীয় তথ্য পূরণ করে সাবমিট করার পর প্রিন্ট কপি নিতে হবে। সেই কপি স্ব-শরীরে গিয়ে পাসপোর্ট অফিসে জমা দিতে হবে। আবেদন ফরমে ছবি ও সত্যায়ন করা না লাগলেও পুলিশ ভেরিফিকেশন লাগবে।

অনলাইনে পূরণ না করে PDF ফরম ডাউনলোড করে হাতেও পূরণ করা যাবে। ফরম পূরণের সময় ছবি সত্যায়ন করতে হবে না। তবে বয়স্কদের ক্ষেত্রে জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র ও অপ্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের ক্ষেত্রে জন্মনিবন্ধন সনদ দাখিল বাধ্যতামূলক করা হয়েছে।

আবেদনপত্র জমা দেওয়ার সময় ই-পাসপোর্টের জন্য ডেমোগ্রাফিক তথ্য, ১০ আঙুলের ছাপ, চোখের কর্নিয়ার ছবি ও ডিজিটাল সই সংগ্রহ করবে পাসপোর্ট অফিস। এসব তথ্য যাচাই-বাছাইয়ের মাধ্যমে কেন্দ্রীয় ডাটা সেন্টার ও ডিজ্যাস্টার রিকভারি সেন্টারের সার্ভারে সংরক্ষণ করা হবে। পাশাপাশি পাসপোর্টের আবেদনকারীদের পাসপোর্ট দেওয়ার জন্য পার্সোনালাইজেশন সেন্টারে পাসপোর্ট প্রিন্টিংয়ের পর আঞ্চলিক পাসপোর্ট অফিস ও দূতাবাসগুলোয় পাসপোর্ট বিতরণ করা হবে। সব তথ্য চিপে যুক্ত থাকবে। ইমিগ্রেশন পুলিশ বিশেষ যন্ত্রের সামনে পাসপোর্টের পাতাটি ধরতেই সব তথ্য বেরিয়ে আসবে।

কত টাকা ও কত দিনে হাতে পাবো ই-পাসপোর্ট?

তবে পুরনো অথবা মেয়াদোত্তীর্ণ পাসপোর্ট রি-ইস্যু করার ক্ষেত্রে অতি জরুরি পাসপোর্ট দু’দিনে, জরুরি পাসপোর্ট তিন দিনে ও সাধারণ পাসপোর্ট সাত দিনের মধ্যে পাওয়া যাবে।
উল্লেখ্য যে, ছবিতে বর্ণিত টাকার পরিমান ভ্যাট ছাড়া এবং উপরে বর্ণিত টাকার পরিমান ভ্যাটসহ।

The Asian Highway: A pipe dream on paper

On a map laid out on the table, the concept looks impressive – an all-weather metalled road to connect Europe with Asia, spanning more than a hundred thousand kilometres, travelled by lorries, and buses and cars, carrying goods and passengers end to end without hindrance.

Named the Asian Highway, the project was to have a network of roads which would connect the far corners of the two continents. UN-Escap's Asian Highway Network shows a route that is supposed to touch Dhaka and will connect Istanbul to Tokyo.

As per the route map, in one go, a commuter could enter a highway in Dhaka and take an exit through Tamabil to pass through Indian and Myanmar territories to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Beijing, Seoul and then Tokyo. The other route will exit through Benapole, then Kolkata, New Delhi, Lahore, Islamabad, Kabul, Tehran before ending in Istanbul.

Conceived in 1959 during the height of the Cold War, the 1,44,630-kilometre Asian Highway network looks to connect 32 Asian countries to Europe. An intergovernmental agreement was adopted in Bangkok in 2003 to establish the network. Bangladesh officially approved the accession of the highway network in 2009 through signing the regional instrument.

নীলফামারীর সৈয়দপুরে ইউএস-বাংলা চালু করছে শাটল বাস 🚎 🚌 সেবা

নীলফামারীর সৈয়দপুরে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইনসের পর এবার যাত্রীদের জন্য বিনা মূল্যে শাটল বাস সেবা চালু করতে যাচ্ছে ইউএস-বাংলা এয়ারলাইনস। ৩০ সেপ্টেম্বর এ সেবা চালু করার কথা।

উড়োজাহাজ সেবা প্রদানকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানটি সৈয়দপুর বিমানবন্দর থেকে ঠাকুরগাঁও, দিনাজপুর ও রংপুর রুটে যাত্রীদের আনা-নেওয়া করতে এ পরিবহনসেবা চালু করছে।

ইউএস বাংলা সৈয়দপুর-ঢাকা আকাশপথে প্রতিদিন সাতটি ফ্লাইট পরিচালনা করছে।

ইউএস-বাংলা এয়ারলাইনসের স্টেশন ইনচার্জ জাকির হোসেন বলেন, বিভিন্ন এলাকার যাত্রীরা সৈয়দপুর বিমানবন্দরে আসা-যাওয়া নিয়ে বিড়ম্বনায় পড়েন। ব্যক্তিগত বা ভাড়া গাড়ির সহায়তা নিতে হয় তাঁদের। এতে বাড়তি খরচ ও ফ্লাইট সূচি মেনে চলতে কষ্ট হয়। এ কারণে যাত্রীদের জন্য আধুনিক ও সুপরিসর বাস সেবা চালু করা হচ্ছে।

ইউএস–বাংলার মহাব্যবস্থাপক (জনসংযোগ) কামরুল ইসলাম বলেন, ৩০ সেপ্টেম্বর সৈয়দপুর–চট্টগ্রামের মধ্যে আকাশপথে যোগাযোগ স্থাপন করা হবে। আর অক্টোবরে সৈয়দপুর-কক্সবাজার রুটে উড়োজাহাজ চলবে।

প্রসঙ্গত, ১৪ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে বিমান বাংলাদেশ প্রথম শাটল বাস সেবা চালু করে।

এ বছরে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘার প্রথম দর্শন

গতদিন শনিবার বাড়ির পাশের টাঙ্গন ব্রিজের উপরে দাঁড়িয়ে দেখলাম শিমুল তুলোর মতো ছড়িয়ে থাকা মেঘের মাঝে "কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা" উঁকি দিচ্ছে। আহা সেই কি অনুভূতি, আবারো ছুটোছুটি হবে সুন্দরীর(কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা) পিছনে। কিন্তু সেই দিনগুলো যে এতো তারাতাড়ি ফিরে পাবো সত্যিই ভাবতে পারিনি।

গতকালই ইচ্ছে হচ্ছিল ছুট দেই তেতুলিয়ার পথে, কিন্তু কিছুক্ষন পরে মেঘে ঢাকা পরে গেলো কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা। তবে লক্ষস্থির আমরা রাতেই যাচ্ছি তেতুলিয়ার পথে।
পার করছি নির্ঘুম রাত, রওনা যে হতে হবে ভোররাতে।

অতঃপর ছোটো ভাই আল-আমিনকে নিয়ে ভোর তিনটায় রওনা হলাম তেতুলিয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে। ফজরের নামাজের জন্য মুসুল্লিরা যখন মসজিদে যাচ্ছিলেন ঠিক তখনই উত্তরের আকাশে উকি দিলো তুষার শুভ্র কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা।

কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা যতোই উজ্জ্বল হচ্ছে, আমার গাড়ি গতি ততোই বাড়ছে। এ বছরে প্রথমবারের মতো কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘাকে দেখে যেনো মিটালাম চোখের ক্ষুধা। ইস এই তো গত বছর কতোই না দিন কাটলো তেতুলিয়ার অলি-গলি চেপে পাহাড় দেখতে দেখতে। আবারো কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা দর্শন হবে তৃপ্তি ভরে।
পুরোটা সকাল উপভোগ করলাম।

চোখের সামনে দার্জির্লিং, কার্শিয়াংয়ের বাড়িগুলোয় লাইটগুলো ছল-ছল করছিলো। ঠিক তখনি খেয়াল করলাম ও মাছ ভর্তি জাল [লাগা জাল (আঞ্চলিক )] নিয়ে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘার সামনে হাটছে।

খালি চোখে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা দর্শনের অনুভূতিটা আসলে অন্যরকম, যারা কখনো দেখেননি তাদের বলে বোঝানো সম্ভব নয়।

এই তো সময়, তবে এই সময়টা যতোটাই দীর্ঘ হোক না কেনো
আমার কাছে কেনো জানি তারাতাড়ি ফুড়িয়ে যায়। দুপুরের আগে ধীরে ধীরে মেঘ ছেয়ে আসতে শুরু করলো উত্তরের আকাশ, মেঘের মাঝে হারিয়ে গেলো কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা। সারাদিন থাকলাম তেতুলিয়ায়, সকালের সেই তুষারশুভ্র রুপের আর দেখা মিললো না। তবে প্রথমদিন হিসেবে নিরাশ করেনি সুন্দরী(কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা)।

এই তো ভ্রমণের তৃপ্তি।

আশা করি, আকাশ পরিষ্কার থাকলে আগামী দিনগুলোতে দেখা মিলবে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘার।
বাইরে থেকে যারা কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা দেখতে তেতুলিয়া আসতে চাচ্ছেন জলদি ব্যাগ গুছান।

সৈয়দপুর বিমানবন্দর থেকে রংপুর ও দিনাজপুর রুটের যাত্রীদের জন্য বিনামূল্যে এসি বাস সার্ভিস চালু করতে যাচ্ছে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স।
যাত্রীদের বিনামূল্যে সৈয়দপুর থেকে দিনাজপুর-রংপুরে পৌঁছে দেবে বিমান।

সৈয়দপুর বিমানবন্দর থেকে দিনাজপুর ও রংপুরে রুটের যাত্রীদের জন্য আগামী ১৩ সেপ্টেম্বর বিনামূল্যে এসি বাস সার্ভিস চালু করতে যাচ্ছে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স।

বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্সের উপ-মহাব্যবস্থাপক (ডিজিএম-পিআর) তাহেরা খন্দকার বিষয়টি জানিয়েছেন। তিনি বলেন, এ সেবার মাধ্যমে বিমানের যাত্রীরা বিনামূল্যে সৈয়দপুর বিমানবন্দর থেকে রংপুর ও দিনাজপুর শহরে যেতে পারবেন।

এছাড়াও রংপুর ও দিনাজপুর শহর থেকে বিমানের ফ্লাইট ধরতে ফ্রি কোচে সৈয়দপুর বিমানবন্দরে আসতে পারবেন যাত্রীরা।

ফ্লাইট বিজি-৪৯৫ মঙ্গলবার ছাড়া প্রতিদিন রাত ৮টা ৫ মিনিটে সৈয়দপুর থেকে ঢাকার উদ্দেশে এবং সন্ধ্যা ৬টা ৪৫ মিনিটে ঢাকা থেকে সৈয়দপুরের উদ্দেশে যাত্রা করে।

এছাড়াও বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্সের ফ্লাইট বিজি-৪৯৩ প্রতি শুক্র, শনি, রোব ও বৃহস্পতিবার সৈয়দপুর থেকে সকাল ৮টা ৫০ মিনিটে ঢাকার উদ্দেশে এবং ঢাকা থেকে সকাল ৭টা ৩০ মিনিটে সৈয়দপুরের উদ্দেশে যাত্রা করে। ফ্লাইট বিজি-৬৯৩ প্রতিদিন সৈয়দপুর থেকে দুপুর ২টা ২০ মিনিটে ঢাকার উদ্দেশে এবং দুপুর ১টায় ঢাকা থেকে সৈয়দপুরের উদ্দেশে যাত্রা করে।

এ রুটে সম্প্রতি কেনা অত্যাধুনিক ড্যাশ ৮-৪০০ উড়োজাহাজ ব্যবহৃত হয়।

সৈয়দপুর বিমানবন্দর থেকে রংপুর ও দিনাজপুর শহর পর্যন্ত শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রিত বিনামূল্যে কোচ সার্ভিস চালু করেছে বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্স। ১৩ সেপ্টেম্বর (সোমবার) থেকে এ সেবা চালু হবে।

এর আওতায় বিমানের যাত্রীরা সৈয়দপুর বিমানবন্দর থেকে রংপুর ও দিনাজপুর শহর এবং রংপুর ও দিনাজপুর শহর থেকে সৈয়দপুর বিমানবন্দরে যেতে পারবেন।
যাত্রীদের বিনামূল্যে সৈয়দপুর থেকে দিনাজপুর-রংপুরে পৌঁছে দেবে বিমান।

তামিলনাড়ু রাজ্যে রয়েছে চারটি বিখ্যাত হাসপাতাল। চোখ বন্ধ করে এদের যেকোনো একটিতে চিকিৎসা করাতেই পারেন। কিন্তু কোন হাসপাতালে আপনার যাওয়া সঠিক হবে তা জানবেন কিভাবে?
এটা জানতে পুরো প্রতিবেদনটি পড়ুন। কথা দিচ্ছি আপনি নিজেই ঠিক করে নিতে পারবেন কোন হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা করাবেন।

১. অ্যাপোলো (Apollo Hospital) –
অ্যাপোলো হাসপাতাল চেন্নাইয়ের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে ভালো। এখানে রয়েছে সবচেয়ে উন্নত যন্ত্রপাতি এবং বিশ্বমানের ডাক্তার। কিন্তু এখানে খরচ দক্ষিন ভারতের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বেশি। এখানে চিকিৎসা করাতে সময় লাগে দক্ষিন ভারতের অন্যান্য হাসপাতালের তুলনায় অনেক কম। সুতরাং কম সময়ে ভালো চিকিৎসা করাতে চাইলে এখানে চলে আসুন। তবে চিকিৎসার খরচ পড়বে অন্য হাসপাতালের থেকে অনেক বেশি। অবস্থান – অ্যাপোলো হাসপাতাল চেন্নাই সেন্ট্রাল রেলওয়ে স্টেশান থেকে মাত্র ৪ কিমি এবং চেন্নাই এগমোর রেল স্টেশান থেকে ৩ কিমি দূরে অবস্থিত। হাওড়া অথবা শিয়ালদা থেকে অনেক ট্রেন পেয়ে যাবেন। এই হাসপাতাল চেন্নাই এয়ারপোর্ট থেকে ১৫ কিমি দূরে অবস্থিত।

থাকা ও খাওয়া –
চেন্নাইয়ের অ্যাপোলোতে গেলে ভাষা নিয়ে একটু সমস্যা হলেও খাওয়া দাওয়া নিয়ে কোনো সমস্যা হবে না। ঠিক অ্যাপোলো হাসপাতালের পাশেই রয়েছে অনেকগুলি বাঙালী হোটেল। কম খরচে বাঙালীর মাছ-ভাত জুটে যাবে। তবে নিজেরা রান্না করেও খেতে পারবেন। তাঁর জন্য আলাদা হোটেল আছে। সেখানে থাকতে হবে। ওখান থেকে রান্না করার জন্য বাসন ভাড়া নিতে পারবেন। ভাষা নিয়েও খুব একটা সমস্যা হবে না। সমান্য হিন্দি বা ইংরাজীতে জ্ঞান থাকলেই চলে যাবে। থাকার জন্য রয়েছে দামী, কমদামী অনেক হোটেল। চেষ্টা করবেন হাসপাতালের সবচেয়ে কাছে থাকার। তাহলে প্রতিদিন হাসপাতালে যাওয়ার খরচ বেঁচে যাবে।
সময় –
১। টুকটাক ডাক্তার দেখানোর জন্য গেলে ৮ থেকে ১০ দিনের প্ল্যান করলেই চলবে।২। বড় মাপের চিকিৎসা অথবা অপারেশানের জন্য কমপক্ষে ২০ দিনের মতো সময় নিয়ে যেতে হবে।
রেজিস্ট্রেশান :
এ্যাপোলো হাসপাতালে ঢোকার মুখেই ডান দিকে প্রথমে যে বিল্ডিংটা রয়েছে তার নাম “সুন্দুরি ব্লক/Sundoori Block”। এই ব্লকেই হয় রেজিস্ট্রেশান।

২. শ্রী রামাচন্দ্র মেডিকেল সেন্টার (Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre) –
পকেটে টাকা কম থাকলে তাহলে আপনি চেন্নাইয়ের শ্রী রামাচন্দ্র মেডিকেল সেন্টারে চিকিৎসা করাত পারেন। তবে এখানে চিকিৎসার জন্য সময় লাগবে সি.এম.সি ভেলোরের তুলনায় অনেক কম। শ্রী রামাচন্দ্র মেডিকেল সেন্টারটি ১৯৮৫ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠা হয় চেন্নাই এর পোরুর নামক জায়গায়। তবে সেরকমভাবে এর পরিচিতি না থাকায় আমরা অনেকেই এই মেডিকেল সেন্টার সম্পর্কে কিছুই জানিনা। কিন্তু এখানে চিকিৎসা দানের পদ্ধতি অনেক ভালো আর খরচও বেশ কম। বিশেষ করে মেডিকেল সেন্টারটির পরিবেশ আর চিকিৎসার ব্যবস্থাপনা চোখে লাগার মতো।

৩. ভেলোরের সি.এম.সি হাসপাতাল –
কম খরচে ভালো মানের চিকিৎসার চিকিৎসার জন্য বিখ্যাত দক্ষিন ভারত। দক্ষিন ভারতের তামিলনাডু রাজ্যের ছোট এক জেলা শহর ভেলোর। সি.এম.সি হল ভারতের একেবারে প্রথম শ্রেনীর হাসপাতাল। এই হাসপাতাল ঘিরে গড়ে উঠেছে অসংখ্য হোটেল ও লজ। রুম ভাড়াও তুলনামূলক ভাবে অনেক কম। কম খরচে চিকিৎসা করাতে চাইলে সি.এম.সি সবচেয়ে ভালো। তবে অত্যধিক ভিড়ের জন্য এখানে চিকিৎসা করাতে সময় লাগে অনেক বেশি।

কেন ভেলোরে চিকিৎসা করবেন?
ভেলোরে রয়েছে ভারতের বিখ্যাত সিএমসি হাসপাতাল। এই হাসপাতালে পাবেন বিশ্বমানের চিকিৎসা তুলনামূলক ভাবে অনেক কম খরচে। কারণ এটি খ্রিস্টান মিশনারী পরিচালিত একটি অলাভজনক হাসপাতাল।

মনিপাল হাসপাতাল বেঙ্গালুরুর একটি প্রধান হাসপাতাল। এটি একটি ৬০০ বেড বিশিষ্ট একটি হাসপাতাল। আরো ৩০০ বেড এখানে শিগ্রই যুক্ত করার পরিকল্পনা চলছে। এখানে চিকিৎসার খরচ চেন্নাইএর অ্যাপোলোর তুলনায় অনেকটা কম।

Mandatory requirements for planning visit to Sikkim
Apply the travel card .(must)

1.Although not mandatory while applying for a Travel Card, tourists are recommended to book only those health & safety compliant accommodation units and avail transport and other services from health & safety compliant tour operators and service providers.

2.Tourist visiting Sikkim are required to fill in requisite details in the forms available under the tab for tourists in the Tourism Portal https://sikkimtourism.gov.in. A Travel card can be downloaded after filling all the sections and entering relevant details. The Travel Card is to be shown at the entry point at Rangpo/Melli. The Travel Card is required to be updated by the tourist themselves or the Hotels or Tour operators or TICs on a day to day basis thereafter during their stay in Sikkim

3.The Travel Card is required to be carried by the tourist at all times, and they may be asked to produce it for verification and checking by designated Enforcement officers deputed for such purpose.

4.Tourists may be fined by the Enforcement Officers if observed to violate the requirements for social distancing, wearing of mask, non-updation of travel card or availing services from non-compliant accommodation units, tour operators/service providers.

**Identification of Health & safety compliant Hotels and Vehicles :

A customized sticker for vehicles and flags / standees or banners for Hotels and accommodation units and for offices of Tour operators and service providers shall be displayed/hoisted in the vehicles/ accommodation units and offices as the case may be.

2. BHUTAN TOUR

Day 01: Dhaka-Burimari/Changrabandha- Phuenthsoling
Start journey from Dhaka by bus on 8:30 pm and reached Burimari/Changrabandha border on next day morning. Receive from Burimari border and after immigration enter to India, transfer to Jaigaon border for exit from India. After lunch proceed for Bhutan immigration. After immigration check in at hotel. Phuentsholing- Phuentsholing is the border point for any goods and services entry/exit into Bhutan. Phuentsholing lies opposite the Indian town of Jaigon and cross-border trade has resulted in a thriving local economy. Zangto Pelri Lhakhang: It is a small temple located in the heart of the Phuntsholing town. The temple's soothing premises also serve as park, a good place to relax for both local and tourist. Day 02: Phuentsholing-Thimphu
Complete the immigration formalities before starting the journey to Thimphu, the immigration office gets open at 9AM. The feeling of exhausted and crowded in Phuentsholing comes to the end after half an hour drive uphill, you will start feeling fresh and enjoy the scenic beauty of the nature. The journey will pass through some of the most beautiful broad leaves forest to temperate alpine zone, villages, towns, water fall, hills and mountains until we reach Thimphu, creating the history for you. Roadside Stops: Leg stretch break for having tea/coffee, using restroom and taking photographs at scenic places like waterfalls, landscapes, and villages. Chuzom- Meeting point of two rivers (Thimphu & Paro) this is tri junction of highway leading to Thimphu, Paro and Phuentsholing into three directions. Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing
Thimphu- This bustling little city is the main centre of commerce, religion and government in the country. Thimphu is the most modern city with an abundance of restaurants, internet cafes, nightclubs and shopping centers. However it still retains its cultural identity and values amidst the signs of modernization, often referred as world only city without traffic lights. Buddha Dordenma- The Buddha Dordenma is located at a top of the hill in Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park and overlooks the southern entrance to Thimphu valley. The Buddha Dordenma is a gigantic 51.5-meter tall statue, making it one of the largest statues of Buddha in the world. Arts and Crafts Vocational School- Arts and Craft School is where student learn 13 different techniques to master in Bhutanese Arts. Some of the skills required eight years to graduate. You can see live carving, painting, sculpture etc. You are allowed to take the pictures/make video. Products made by students are on display at the showroom for sales as well. The school is closed in July and December to February, beside their exams and events. Folk Heritage Museum-This museum was established in 2001 and provides visitors with fascinating insights into the Bhutanese material culture and way of life, especially the life of Bhutanese in remote parts of Bhutan. Authentic Bhutanese Crafts Bazaar- Bhutan’s first ever craft bazaar showcases wide range of authentic Bhutan-made arts and craft products with reasonable price range. Handicraft Emporium- Realizing the importance of socio-economic growth, handicraft emporium was set up with the command of His Majesty 3rd King, this was the first step to showcase the authentic Bhutanese handicraft products in Bhutan. You can still find some of the fine products available here at reasonable cost. Witnessing Archery Match- Archery is the national game of Bhutan, it is amazing to see Bhutanese archers hitting target from a distance of 145 meters range. Bhutan has top archers on some categories on Olympic games. Weekend Market/Centenary Farmers Market- An interesting well organized permanent set of stalls built for vegetable vendors across the country. It is open from Wednesday to Monday and closed on Tuesdays. One can find wide range of local vegetables and fruits. Other side of the river is place for indigenous goods and handicrafts section, where locally produced goods, including religious objects, cloth, baskets and hats etc from various minority groups are sold here. These shops are open from Friday to Sunday only. Clock Tower Square- Situated in the heart of town, Clock Tower Square is a popular venue for open ground events such as cultural festivals, concerts, fund- raising events, live shows and trade fairs. Day 04: Thimphu to Paro (1.5 hrs drive)
As we proceed to Paro, we will retrace the journey crossing Chuzom and further to Paro. The entire stretch of drive will refresh your mind and give you second chance to enjoy smooth and most scenic drive to Paro. Paro Airport Bird's Eye View Point- The Paro international airport is among the top 10 most stunning and challenging airports in the world. The view point offers an exquisite view of the Paro valley. The massive buttressed walls that tower over the town are visible throughout the valley, particularly when landing at Paro Airport. The Dzong also offers administrative seat of the district of Paro. The Dzong was built in 1644 under the order of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. National Museum of Paro- Perched above Paro Dzong it was watchtower built in 1649 to protect the undefended Paro Dzong located below, renovated in 1968 to house the National Museum. Today this museum houses the best collections of all time historical items making worth for a visit. Day 05: Paro Sightseeing
This picturesque region in the kingdom is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. Paro has more of historical sites, high-end tourist resort and many souvenir shops for shopping including world famous Takstang. Taktsang Gompa/Tiger’s Nest Temple- is Bhutan’s most iconic landmark and religious Buddhist site in the world. The name Taktsang translates to “The Tiger’s Nest”. The temple is one of the holiest sites in Bhutan which clings impossibly to a sheer cliff face 900 meters above the valley. Although good trekkers can make it to the top in two hours, most of the guests take whole day to complete the hike. Outdoor Activities- Nicely made and well maintained activity place attached to whole sell Buddha statue store, offers wearing Bhutanese dress, playing archery and darts for guests visiting Bhutan. After lunch complete exit immigration formalities and transfer to Chengrabandha for onward journey.
