أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمْ قُلُوبٌ يَعْقِلُونَ بِهَا أَوْ ءَاذَانُ يَسْمَعُونَ بِهَا فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعْمَى الْأَبْصَرُ وَلَكِن تَعْمَى الْقُلُوبُ الَّتِي فِي الصُّدُورِ
"তারা কি যমীনে ভ্রমণ করেনি? তাহলে তারা জ্ঞানবুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন হৃদয় ও শ্রুতিশক্তিসম্পন্ন শ্রবণের অধিকারী হতে পারত। বস্তুত চোখ তো অন্ধ নয়, বরং অন্ধ হচ্ছে বুকের মধ্যে অবস্থিত হৃদয়।"
