Let's travel to Paros, Greece 🇬🇷

Paros was voted as “The Best Island in Europe” both in 2020 and 2018, mostly because it is a great destination for many different types of tourists...keep reading! And although it is only 196 km2, there a few different villages to visit! 👁️

Paros has a large variety of beautiful beaches. Some with beach bars: Santa Maria and Faragas. And some others, like Kalogeros where you can find a natural mud known for its therapeutical abilities. You can also find the scenic Pisines, which is greek for ‘pools' because the waters there are as clear as pool water. Finally, there are beaches, such as Golden Beach, Punda and Molos, famous for their watersports like windsurfing, snorkeling and even tubes. 🤿🏊

If you want an active holiday but on land, there are a couple of hiking paths. One is the Byzantine Road, which an ancient path that dates back to 1,000 AD. Another hiking trail is at Paros Parks, which leads to a gorgeous lighthouse on top of a cliff 🏞️

If you want to take it easier, walk around the well-known Cycladic alleys and take a seat at a taverna for some seafood.

One thing is for sure, you will never get bored! Visit the busy Naousa, which has more young tourists and many bars, Paroikia which is somewhat bigger and family friendly, Lefkes which is a beautiful small traditional village in the mountains, and Piso Livadi which is a small strip of cafes and restaurants on the beachfront 🏖️. If that is not enough, you can take the ferry for 5-7 minutes to Antiparos. And perhaps as you're sipping on your drink you will spot Tom Hanks as he's a local citizen😎

Nightlife on the island can be whatever you want it to be✌️🍻 Grab a drink by the sea or in the Cycladic alleys, Go bar hopping or to a nightclub 🌃

Finally, I definitely recommend taking a cruise (Seacret Cruise being my fave) around the beaches. As acal myself, Ican tell it's mind blowing! ⛵"

So, do you also want to meet Tom Hanks?🤩

Hey Buddies and Travellers! Welcome, today we are heading to Mercedes, a city located about 100km West of Buenos Aires. 💃

"As Argentina was already populated with natives when Colombus arrived in America in 1492, Mercedes was founded in 1865 as a border city between the Argentinian territory and what was called the “desert”: the land which was yet to be conquered 🏜. Mercedes was born as a strategic defense point from the natives during the conquest campaign. Once you get to Buenos Aires, you can get here by car, bus or train.

There are very cool places you want to visit in order to feel the sense of Spanish colonial style. For example, La Pulperia is a bar opened in 1830 which was used by Gauchos (land workers) to have a drink after their work 🍻. You can still have drink and eat some local food today, after 200 years! The place is the oldest of its kind in the country, and is visited every day by dozens of tourists.
For food, you should consider going to La Recova. It is a traditional restaurant built in 1873 where visitors and those with more money used to stay when they were traveling through Mercedes. Today, they have the best steak around, and its prices are not too high 🥩.

On the other hand, Mercedes is located in a geographic area called “La Pampa”, which has some of the most fertile fields on the planet 🌱. This is why some of the richest people of the country own big ranches here with beautiful houses 🏘. Every ranch is like a small village with lots of people working in them, and all of them have the house of the owner in its center. You must visit one of them if you’re around, such as San Jacinto ranch 😉.

I believe that autumn and spring are the best seasons of the year to come, as it gets very hot during the summer 🔥and quite cold during the winter ❄️. However, you’ll always find very fun things to do, places and museums to visit. People in Mercedes will always happily welcome you! 🤗

If there is one thing for which travelers come to Belgium, it has to be for its chocolate! Known as one of the best in the world, 800 tones of Belgian chocolate is sold every year at Brussels Airport, and this is more than anywhere else in the world.

Crazy... Maybe. But aren't we all crazy about good chocolate? 😉

Happy Tuesday! Let's travel to a country that hasn't been impacted by COVID much: Taiwan 😍

"Taipei locates at the northern part of Taiwan and is home to 2.64 millions people. This antique yet beautiful city was once occupied by Dutch, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese, therefore the streets are like a boisterous mixture. Other than enriching cultural heritages, Taipei is also very close to nature. Taipei is itself a basin surrounding by Taipei Grand Trail consisting of 8 sections of mountain trails. Rocky and sandy shores suitable for stand-up paddling, surfing, kayaking or canoeing can be easily reached by bus.

In Taiwan, you can find street foods and restaurants serving cuisines from several countries and, ofc, authentic Taiwanese food such as braised pork rice, oyster omelette, scallion pancake, etc. In Taipei, it is easy to find Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, Singaporean, Malaysian or Chinese food with a Taiwanese twist. I recommend the refreshing citrus ramen and spicy hotpot ! Subtropical Taiwan is also home to many sweet fruits, with umami flavors. To eat shaved mango ice, I recommend which makes seasonal Taiwanese fruits into gelato and sorbet! 🍦

Food aside, Taipei is a city with hefty cultural history; From pre-historic people dwelling at the south bank of Tamsui River, Ching Dynasty people doing trade on Bopiliao Historic Block to large collection of cultural and archaeological relics saved from Empire China, Taipei has a lot to offer!

If you are enthusiastic to humanitarian issues or LGBTQ+ rights, Taipei is definitely a gem for you to explore and connect 🏳️‍🌈. It is first Asian country to legalize same-sex marriage nationwide, our pride parade is one of the biggest parties in the world you would not want to miss.

Whether you are a shopper, nature enthusiast, foodie, photographer, artist, businessperson, PhD, polyglot or a couch potato, there is always a corner in Taipei for you to explore!"

There are 195 countries in the world and only 17 do not have any rivers going through them - including Saudi Arabia🇸🇦

Considering that Saudi Arabia is about 6 times bigger than Germany, and 4 times bigger than France - it's a pretty big country for not having a single river, don't you think? 🤯

Happy Tuesday Travellers and Buddies! Today, we head over to Ireland🇮🇪🍀

Dublin, Ireland's capital, is a city which is bustling with life. It is renowned for its night life. Within the city centre, there is a wide variety of clubs, typical Irish bars and everything in between🌃. The iconic bridges in the city centre also provide a relaxing walk as you rest from your busy shopping day on Grafton Street, or one of the many shopping centres in the heart of the city such as Jervis, the Ilac or St. Stephen's Green shopping centre.

Dublin is well connected with efficient transport systems, such as the iconic yellow Dublin buses or the Luas, which is a high speed tram system🚋.

There is plenty to enjoy further up north such as Phoenix Park where you can chill, have a picnic and spot some free roaming deer. Down south, you can take a trip to the illustrious Dundrum Town Centre which contains almost every store and culinary preference you fancy.

As well as the busy city life, you can enjoy scenic walks on Blackrock Beach🏖️, visit Dublin Zoo or experience the ever so popular Viking Splash Tour on a boat!🛶

Although Dublin is not a huge city by area, there is an abundance of activities to entertain people of any age for an extensive period of time 🥳. It has proven particularly popular among international students wishing to study in an English speaking country!

Tag a friend who needs to know this🤯 Cause,
nope, this is ain't a joke!

There exists, in a small town of Italy named Ortona, a
free public wine fountain ⛲ 🍷Credits go to the Dora
Sarchese Winery which wanted to offer wine to the
people passing by the Camino di San Tommaso.
Although it is not the first public wine fountain (the first
being in Venice), it is the only one opened all year
long. Apparently, the wine is supposed to be quite
good, but nobody will ever know what wine it is... As
the winery keeps it as a secret 🤫

Let's get this week started with a little taste of Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹

"Lisbon is without a doubt one of the most diverse, culture-rich and exciting cities in Europe. Having remained off the radar for some time, in recent years Portugal’s capital has suddenly appeared on everyone’s must-see list, and with good reason.✨

With 7 hills that overlook the River Tejo, Europe’s 2nd oldest city is a truly diverse destination: from historical treasures and ancient ruins to modern cuisine, breathtaking viewpoints and glamorous boulevards, Lisbon provides ample opportunities for all types of travellers. 🧳✈️🌍

Whether you’re looking to learn all about history, try local food & drinks 🥂, soak up the sunshine on one of the Atlantic beaches 🏖️ or if you simply want to get lost in the maze of narrow cobbled streets, Lisbon has it all! To fully enjoy these, bring some comfortable footwear or just hop on the traditional Tram 28 🚊.

No trip would be complete without a dive into the wonders of the local food culture 🍲. Lisbon is packed with exciting foods that will have you squealing with delight in-between mouthfuls of salty bacalhau 🐟 and sweet, crunchy pastel de nata.

When the sun goes down, head to Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré areas for a fun night out 🌃. You don’t need to make plans, just get a glass of Port Wine or Superbock and go with the flow. For some traditional fado music, check out some of the best fado houses in Alfama. The beautiful ballads originated in the streets of the Mouraria neighbourhood in the early 19th century and they express what the Portuguese call “saudade”, which roughly translates to longing for something lost.

City breaks and all the sightseeing can sometimes get a bit exhausting, especially over the summer months, but Lisbon’s proximity to the Atlantic ocean means that visitors are able to combine the beauty of a city break with the pleasures of a beach holiday 👌😌. Barely 30 minutes from Lisbon, there are several wonderful beaches and seaside towns that you can visit, such as Costa de Caparica, Carcavelos, Estoril or Guincho 🌊."
