Bye bye 2022, and welcome 2023!
As the past year was difficult for many people on so many different levels, let’s count our blessings.
For ( s o o n ) gallery & duplex 2022 was a new beginning, the start of an adventure which has brought lots of joy and many wonderful moments.
In the first 6 months renting the duplex via Airbnb, we welcomed guests from all over the world: New York, other places in the US, Korea, China, Germany, and of course also fellow Belgians.
We hope to welcome many more in 2023, showing them the most beautiful spots of Antwerp and the perks of our own neighbourhood Linkeroever, let them discover art while staying at the duplex and on walks along all the Antwerp galleries and museums -to name two of my favourites the open air sculpture museum Middelheim and the newly reopened KMSKA, enjoy the fabulous restaurants and coffee bars and take time to savour those wonderful moments!
For 2023 I wish you all peace of mind, peace of heart but also fireworks, rainbows and most of all the audacity to make that dream project you’ve been thinking about come true.

I chose this painting because, besides depicting flowers in a pot, the vribrant colours and shapes make it seem like abundant fireworks to me. Perfect to celebrate this new year! ;)
