Hi, I'm Lucy, 12 years ago I walked away from a corporate career as I was fed up with the stress, not having any time, and constant travelling and decided to retrain to become a mobile personal trainer which I absolutely loved. When I started a family almost 8 years ago I thought I could fit my work neatly around my son. It wasn't to be, I got busier and busier not wanting to turn work away was wo
rking full time and never saw my son. The decision to cut back my hours left us needing an extra income. All I was looking for was an extra £200 a month, my son was one, I was pregnant with my daughter so an extra £200 just in a few hours a week was all I wanted so I jumped in and got started. As time went on I started to get increasingly frustrated with the personal training. I was always swapping time for money which meant there was only so much I could earn as there were only so many hours in the day. I began to realise that being a personal trainer was never going to give us any kind of lifestyle and the irony was that I was so busy training everyone else I never had any time for my own training! I started to realise I was back in the same situation I had been in my corporate career. I knew something had to change. I'd never done anything like this before but was helped and guided every step of the way. I found the time in and around the kids, in and around my clients and within 4 months I was earning £1000 a month, 6 months later it had doubled. All of that working part time alongside the kids and a full personal training schedule. Today I have developed an incredible full time income, I work flexible hours round my two beautiful children. I have my dream car, we have fabulous holidays four times a year, but most of all we have peace of mind and time as a family. Starfish Global is all about helping make a difference to others. It began as Starfish Personal Training to help people with their health and fitness goals. But now as Starfish Global I can help others on a much wider basis, helping them make a difference to their incomes and quality of life.
