Hi, I'm Lucy, 12 years ago I walked away from a corporate career as I was fed up with the stress, not having any time, and constant travelling and decided to retrain to become a mobile personal trainer which I absolutely loved. When I started a family almost 8 years ago I thought I could fit my work neatly around my son. It wasn't to be, I got busier and busier not wanting to turn work away was wo
rking full time and never saw my son. The decision to cut back my hours left us needing an extra income. All I was looking for was an extra £200 a month, my son was one, I was pregnant with my daughter so an extra £200 just in a few hours a week was all I wanted so I jumped in and got started. As time went on I started to get increasingly frustrated with the personal training. I was always swapping time for money which meant there was only so much I could earn as there were only so many hours in the day. I began to realise that being a personal trainer was never going to give us any kind of lifestyle and the irony was that I was so busy training everyone else I never had any time for my own training! I started to realise I was back in the same situation I had been in my corporate career. I knew something had to change. I'd never done anything like this before but was helped and guided every step of the way. I found the time in and around the kids, in and around my clients and within 4 months I was earning £1000 a month, 6 months later it had doubled. All of that working part time alongside the kids and a full personal training schedule. Today I have developed an incredible full time income, I work flexible hours round my two beautiful children. I have my dream car, we have fabulous holidays four times a year, but most of all we have peace of mind and time as a family. Starfish Global is all about helping make a difference to others. It began as Starfish Personal Training to help people with their health and fitness goals. But now as Starfish Global I can help others on a much wider basis, helping them make a difference to their incomes and quality of life. My own success has only come as a result of helping other people be successful and I'd love to help you too. If you could see your future from where I'm standing I think you'd be as excited as me!

What's your one word?
At the end of our training I asked these guys to think about one word that will l'd help them get through the next few weeks whether that was to help them continue to achieve their goals, to help them stay happy and mentally in a good place or whether that word was actually to help and inspire someone else.
The world is very different for everyone at the moment so sharing this in the hope that that one word may help even just one person and with the ripple effect it will grow and touch the loves of many ❤️💜❤️

When you go through things together not only does it make it a little easier to get through the tough times but it also makes you stronger. That could be friends, family work colleagues. These are some of my cherished work family all working together to lift each other and lift others. I feel very blessed to work with such a gorgeous bunch of people spread out around the globe but together online.

It's been a busy week of fun, laughter, inspiring and helping the team. I unashamedly love what I do and when you surround yourself with like minded people something magical starts to happen. Sarah's had an incredible month in her new business and that smile says it all .

Love it when you can make new friends as you work. When we first spoke one of the important things for Sarah was to be able to be with her gorgeous little doggie as she worked. Absolutely we can do that! Lovely meeting up with new teamie Sarah and gorgeous little Lolly 🐶 to get their new business under way. 💫💫

Super excited we're here at the start of our kick start training for 2020. I still remember my first ever event I went to when I first started my business. It was January 2008, pregnant with Amelia, Ben was a year old and my eyes started to open to how the business I started for an extra bit of cash could actually give me a full time income and freedom! #2020

Yay back with my buddy Ken! He has the most amazing work ethic, and integrity he's day job meant he had to go and finish a job for a client this morning. But wild horses couldn't keep him from coming up to Coventry to learn, celebrate and hook up with the team.

I just always love the stories and the diversity. Just listening to Jay share how his goal was to keep working his full time job as an admin manager but build an extra income so he could buy a car, travel and do some charity work. 12 months on goal achieved!

So this got my thinking.. Sometimes there are things we avoid put of or never to because they're a bit uncomfortable or we don't want to! But those things could help us achieve some of our biggest and most important goals and dreams.. And then there are some things like picking up dog poo that are not the most wonderful thing to do but we do without giving it a second thought!
